David

David had just gotten home and called Daniel.

"Hey, so do you want to go out and do something some time?" Daniel asked David."I mean, I know we just met and all because of the coffee incident but...".

"Sure! I'd love to! So what should we do?" David asked.

"How about lunch at Korokuba Sushi some time?" Daniel asked.

"Sounds great!"

"Well i'll see you then. Oh wait, what day should we go?"

"I'm free Saturday."

"Sounds like a plan. Well i'll se you then. Bye."

"Bye."

Jane rushed to Daniel's house. He hadn't been answering his texts all day. When she got there, he explained about the stranger who spilled coffee and his date on Saturday with the man.

"Can I come with you?" Jane asked.

"I'm sure he wouldn't mind," Daniel replied.

So Saturday came and they all met up at Kurokuba Sushi. Daniel and David talked for a while. David sensed Daniel was bothered by something.

They finished lunch and Jane went home. Daniel and David were still in the parking lot.

"You seem unhappy about something," David said to Daniel.

"I'm just... It's too complicated. It's like one second i'm happy with my relationship and the next i want to dump her. I just don't know what to do," Daniel said agitatedly.

David could tell he had been facing this problem for a while. Just then, David did something. Something extraordinary. Something very odd for men to do with other men, especially if you barely know them.

Much to Daniel's surprise, David kissed him. Not just on the cheek, but actually kissed him. And Daniel felt something. But how could he feel something after kissing a stranger he had just met?

"Why did you do that?!?!" Daniel said with surprise and anger."It was hard enough to try and deal with my mixed emotions towards Jane. Now i have to try to explain this to her?"

"I know you don't like her. I can feel it. It's almost like you resent her. But when it's just you and me it feels like pure joy," David said.

"I never want to see you again!!" shouted Daniel.

No matter how much he wanted to admit it, David was right. After just knowing him for a week, he could already tell how Daniel was feeling. This made Daniel angry, and he also felt sad. Daniel went home and tried to sleep off his emotions. But they were even worse the next day.
