"Hello?" I answered my cellphone while making a note on my computer about the DD shoot for the end of the week. I had talked to Adam about it, and he said to just do my normal hair and makeup, and meet him at the train station at noon.

"Hi, this is Jen from Kerrang Magazine calling, is this Kylie Edwards?"

"It is."

"Great, I'll just transfer you hold on a second." I pulled my knees to my chest and waited.

"Hello, Kylie?" Another woman's voice.

"Yes."

"I'm Max, chief editor at Kerrang Magazine. It's nice to finally speak to the girl I've heard so much about. Might I say you looked beautiful at the Kerrang awards last month."

"Thank you." I laughed slightly.

"How've you been lately? I'm told you've just moved to England?"

"Yeah, it's nice. The accents are taking some getting used to, but I've been well."

"Glad to hear it. You sound well. If we could get straight down to business, I'm not sure if Oliver's already spoken to you about it, but we're doing a cover story of the women of the men in rock, that sort of thing. We've been keepying quite a close eye on all that's happened with that little contest, and I think it would be interesting if you could all get on it. Not to mention people everywhere have been asking about you guys, after the splash you made at the awards. Do you think you might be interested at all?" Holy shit yes. The title sounds like it's a little sexist: The Women Of The Men In Rock. But I guess they have to relate it to music some how. It is a rock magazine after all.

"Yeah, it sounds awesome."

"Great. So you're interested?"

"Yeah. Yes."

"Great. Do you wanna come into headquarters some time this week? Maybe Saturday?" I pulled up my schedule quickly and saw that nothing was planned for that day.

"Sounds like a plan."

"Great. I'll have my assistant Jen contact you."

"Right, okay.. See you then."

"Yep. Bye." I hung up and sighed. That wasn't that bad. Brusnop ran into my room and jumped onto my legs. I picked him up and scratched behind his ears. I missed my dog Lucy at home, but Moose wanted her so much, I gave her to him. She was basically his anyways. As for Sushi, Ally gratefully adopted him. He needed such little care than even someone as lazy as her could keep him alive - her words, not mine. Oliver was coming back in only three days, and I missed him like crazy. Things had gone well, all the lunches and meetings, and I was excited to start all the modelling and real job stuff, but I wanted someone to be excited with. I worried that perhaps living with me full time was annoying for him, and he wanted to get away from me. I worried that he maybe didn't like me - loved me, but didn't necessarily like me.

"Kylie!" I jumped up. Oliver. "Kylie?" I put down my dog and ran downstairs to see him standing at the front door with his duffel bag over his shoulder.

"You're early." I said.

"If you want me to go back and come home Saturday I can-"

"No." I ran over and jumped into his arms like a child. He laughed as he dripped his bag and hugged me back.

"Miss me?" I let go and he put me down and I took a step back.

"Meh, I guess." I shrugged. He laughed and pulled me into a tight hug again. "I think you missed me." I couldn't help but grin as his familiar scent filled my nose.
