I looked out the window just as we passed a sign saying, "Welcome To Gravity Falls, Oregon!" in ugly orange and green colours. I gave out a small sigh and checked my watch, 5 AM. I made sure all of my stuff was there and fixed my bow of which had become wonky as I slept.

"Graviteh Falls, Lil' Lass!" The bus driver said as he did a hard stop, sailing me forward as I hit my head on the seat in front of me. I quickly shook off my dizziness, grabbed my bag and ran to the exit of the bus, "Thanks Mr.BusDriver!" I said as I hopped off the bus and gave the old man a wave. "you're welcome lass, now hurry and get out of the street." He said with a smile. I nodded and quickly turned my heel and hopped out the street leaving me on the edge of the woods, thankfully, there was a cork board that had maps. I took one when something caught my eye, on the cork board was an odd paper. It was a "help needed" paper for the local tourist attraction, "The Mystery hack?" I whispered confused as the 'S' was scribbled out.

I remembered I'd need a job, hopefully nobody already took the position. Then again, I'm underage (being 12 and all), so I might not be allowed to work there. "Well, it's worth a try." I tore the paper off the cork board and looked up at the map, "the mystery shack should be... this way" I said looking forward into the forest. I walked around the board, shoving the paper into my vest pocket. I entered the forest, the emerald grass under my boots, the sun was blocked by towering pine trees.

I walked through the forest, seeing the most peculiar things, strands of bright red hair, plants that I had only ever seen in my journal, little bearded men who hid in the jade grass whispering to each other.

I looked down to the little men who immediately froze when the saw me, I sighed and slipped my backpack around and kneeling as I opened up my bag. The little men were still frozen as I pulled out a piece of bread that I snagged out of my old house, I pulled it in half and offered it to the little men. I soundlessly closed my backpack and stood up and walked away. I took a bite out of my bread and continued to walk down the forest path, "Thanks!" I heard a voice shout from behind me making me grow a small smile. I continued on my way, seeing even more fantastical creatures who had never before been seen by human eyes, butterflies with gold wings, deers with electric green eyes and 5 legs, and even more.

I stopped as something caught my eye, in the corner of my sight was a gray stepping stone in the shape of a hexagon. I rose my brow and walked over to the stone to see a path of them, leading farther into the woods.

I jumped stone to stone humming a familiar tune

"oh i wish i was a punk rocker, with flowers in my hair," I whispered softly as i jumped to the next stone, "In 77 and 69 revolution was in the air
I was born too late into a world that doesn't care"
