As I walked awkwardly besides joseph I couldn't help but wonder where we were walking to, Mr. Rudometkin sad "tell her" hopefully her was understanding to the situation I didn't mean to make him upset I just wanted to correct his mistake, I followed behind Joesph into the building I first walked into and maintained a steady distance we walked into the office to where miss Casas was she looked at Joseph then me and back to him and sighed,

"Now what did you do joe?" she eyed him "this is the third time this month, are you planning on getting kicked out?" then looked back to me "and you just started today what happened?" I wanted to speak but a sharp voice called,

"You two in my office now!" said a thin woman with a long nose and jet black hair in a blue blazer and matching skirt, I did as I was told and walked into the office, which looked very proper and elegant yet simple furniture.

As we all took a seat she looked at us with fierceness in her eyes and shapely asked

"What. Happened", and in that instant I felt my blood run cold, I was about to start explaining myself but Joseph leaned forward and said "Look Ms. D, we all know Mr Rudometkin is a horrible teacher who hates being corrected and that's why we're here today because princess can't keep his mouth shut." my head spun to his general direction to defend myself but the principal raised her hand and said "That's enough Mr. Zavala!" and rubbed her temples with her fingers, "Mr. Zavala and Mr Loxley I'll be switching both of you out of that class and have replacements classes ready for you by the end of the day, Joseph you may leave my office now" joseph gathered his thing and promptly walked out the door and I was left alone with Ms. D she removed her glasses and relaxed her shoulders,

"Your highness," She spoke with a soft voice, " what seems to be the problem, first you accidentally break a twenty light bulbs in your english class, and now you almost set all of your classmates on fire, what's happening" I should have guessed she was a lower witch like the desk lady, I looked down and fiddled with my fingers until I mustered up the courage to explain myself, "I'm sorry but I have yet to have complete control my powers" i've never felt more embarrassed in my life, when I looked up at the woman she carried a look of sympathy

"One moment your highness" she said getting up and moving to the shelf behind her to retrieve a small box "while my family talent may not be as glamorous as the great four's, I believe everybody can benefit from stone work" she said while pulling out a sterling silver wrist cuff with a gem stone attached at the top. I was baffled at first but she gently took a hold of my wrist and placed the cuff on me, it was a perfect fit. Ms. D took a breath and spoke once more "this cuff belonged to my great grandmother, she was darling but like you had trouble with her gifts, she was an empath, so to giver herself balance she fashioned this cuff by combining gemstones; Moonstone for balance, amethyst for her third eye, tigers eye for protection, and blood stone for strength, but I think it will help you, how do you feel?"

I felt at ease, without forcing myself to think happy thoughts "good" I replied, she smiled and returned to her seat "good, now go on and get to class, and don't make it a habit of visiting my office with a bad phone call from a teacher" she said as she continued to work on her paper work.

The rest of the day seemed so long after my next class my siblings met up where we planned talked for a bit and went off to our next class after the next set of classes we meet up at the same spot for lunch. Vic stretched his arms over his head and yawned " this day seems to be dragging on don't you think guys?" Lilly nodded her head in agreement after taking a huge drink of her water, Vincent, after biting and swallowing his appled said "We Only have two more classes and then it's on our way home, I just let out a deep sigh, then from out of the corner of my eye I saw a girl not to tall with blonde bouncing hair walking to us at a quick speed.

"Hello , my name is Jennifer Scotts," she shreeked in the most high pitch voice, and stuck out her hand, we all stared at her in shock "well I'm just here to welcome you to your guyses first day, if you need anything I'm the chair of the student council in our school district, the secretary of the Associated Student Body, Captain of the Soccer team, and President of the Christian in Action Club, I also help with my fathers worship center here in town " she said cheerfully, Lilly looked at her and said " When do you have time to sleep?" sounding more conserved than sarcastic, the boys laughed at the comment and I hid my smile. Jennifer not half as amuses huffed and walked away.

Vincent grabbed my left hand and inspected the silver cuff, "What is this?" he asked "who gave it to you" I was hesitant to answer and then lily gazed at it and said "i can't tell if it has strong magic or if its holding yours" I withdrew my hand and explained that the Principal gave it to me to help control my powers , Vic shuffled in his back and pulled out a pencil and snapped it in half and placed it in my hand " think about mending it," he said. I closed my eyes and imagined the pencil pulling itself back together,when I opened my eyes to everyone's amazement the pencil fused back together " out of our entire training I think it's safe to say this is the first time you've casted a spell and it worked on the first try" Lilly said looking at me "I've done other things on the first try!" I snapped at her, Vic put his hand on my shoulder and said sincerely "Danhee babe, Lotions and potions don't count as spells" , I stuck my tongue out at him " remember that when I make you stuff for your hair again", we laughed together once more and the bell rang we gathered our things and headed to class.
