Chapter 1

SYDNEYS P.O.V
I had just arrived at a new town well city most people would call it . But to me it's just a town I'll stay at for a few weeks and move on again because 'they' will have found me

My life's been hectic moving from one place to another . Running for our lives . Well now it's just my life .. I haven't seen my parents since I left Canberra they were taken by them there... I so wish I could go back and save them but I knew going back would mean certain death for me.

I grabbed the keys off the lady and wondered up the stairs to my room I was staying at falls hotel in Sydney . I'd always wanted to go to Sydney because my name is Sydney and it just matches and I've always thought that was so cool.

The door squeaked as it opened . I noticed straight away someone else was living here already! I jumped out and closed the door and ran back to reception .

"Miss um someone already in the room you gave me keys to " I explained trying not to sound to shocked . "Oh yes , sorry I forgot to explain that you had a roommate" she said kindly. "I... Umm.. I can't have a roommate" I said stutteringly. "Oh why not" she said a bit concerned. "I um ... Ok fine what's her name then" I said a little bit annoyed . "His" she corrected. "HIS?! What why do I have to share with a stupid guy. I am 14 I've had enough of guys. I stomped away from the lady angrily and walked back to 'our' room. UGH.

I opened the big wooden door again and there I see a guy who looks the same age as me. I looked at him for a second with so many questions.

"Hi" he said cheerfully. "Hey" I said back nervously . "So your my new roommate I guess" he said. "Hah yeah I guess so" . "So what's your name" he questioned . "Sydney" I replied . "That will be easy to remember" he chuckled. "Yes I know" I giggled back. "So, what's your name" I asked. "Brax" he replied
