Rain poured down on this dark, gloomy evening, I was driving home. It was past curfew and I was not in the proper mindset to be operating a car. As I contiued to drive home to my oasis, I came to an abrupt stop and everything became a blur....
I woke up screaming in a cold sweat, in the arms of Jacob. "W-what happened last night?" I inquired curiously. "You fell asleep in my arms last night, after we had that talk. I was gonna take you to your room but you insisted on staying in here with me." he said whilst rubbing the back of his neck. "Want some coffee?" he asked while wiping the sweat off of my brow. "U-umm sure" I said still in a daze from my nightmare. I trotted out of Jacob's bed into my room to take a shower.
As the hot water hit my skin, I started thinking back to that night. It was haunting me; it was gonna interfere with my life again. I had to do something and it begins with getting rid of Asia...
After showering, I was welcomed by Jacob and some coffee. "Thanks" I said taking a seat next to Jacob as we sat in silence. My mind began to drift off, wondering how I could get rid of Asia and this secret out of my life for good. I wonder if Jacob would help, but that would probably only lead to him asking why?
Last night, Jacob told me why he was here, he too wanted a change in scenery he was tired of being looked down upon every where he went. He convinced his dad to let him come to Maplewood. He said something occurred in his life, that he didn't want to speak of. I guess everyone has secrets. Our silence was interrupted by a knock at the door. "Come in" Jacob semi-yelled. The door opened, and in came Craig. "Hey, Jacob. H-hey Jasmine" Craig said, failing to make eye contact with me. I don't understand what makes him attracted to me, I just don't understand. "Hey, Craig. I've gotta go to work. I'll catch you guys later." I said leaving the awkward scene.
I headed towards the record shop, while doing so. I felt a presence near, I turned around to see Rayan walking towards me. "Hey, you owe me a coffee date and philosophy lecture, what happened?" he asked. "I uh had to go home and take some meds, yeah that's what happened. I forgot to take my medicine." I said, sounding so much like an old lady. "Oh, okay. Well today's your first day of work, how do you feel?" he asked. Now if I were to be honest, I'd say I feel like shit. "Pretty good, I guess. I mean from what I hear we don't get a lot of business." "Yeah, that's true, but it will be all the while better working next to you." I couldn't help myself but blush as the words slipped off of his lips. We arrived at work, to an empty scene. Rayan said the owner, Mr. Orr would arrive later in the day when his daughter drove into to town.
Taking off my coat, I got right down to work. Organizing the albums and putting some albums in the window. While doing so, the crazy chords of Death's - Freaking Out came through the dusty old record player beside Rayan. "What do you know about Death?" I asked while giggling. They happen to be one of my favorite bands. ( A/N - I really do love them lol) "I happen to love them" he said while coming from behind the counter. The sounds of Politicians in my Eyes played.
The number one biggest game
It's where they gain the most fame
It's like a race to the top
Because they wanna be boss
They don't care who they step on
As long as they get along.
I began to sing the lyrics and so did he. Rayan came behind me, and swiftly grabbed my hips. I turned around to meet his alluring brown orbs, the space within us closed as our lips met. The moment between us came to an swift stop. When I turned to my left, to see a heartbroken Craig.

Until we meet again, I'm gonna try and make my chapters longer for you guys. I feel like it's not satisfying enough. I'll work on it. Peace, Love, and all of the above.
