Ainsley walked inside the house "Mom, i'm home~" She trailed through the house. She looked around, not seeing her mom anywhere.
She was probably in her room crying. Ainsley knew her mom was depressed ever since their dad left them. One time Ainsley even walked in on her drinking alcahol. Ainsley felt bad for her mom. Her Dad was her mom's highschool sweetheart, but then he just picked up his things and left.
Ainsley kept trying to get her mom to talk to her about it, but her mom wouldn't say a thing.
She walked up to her room and put her headphones on. She headed inside but the second she did she heard a noise from Bethany's room.
She walked over to Bethany's room and knocks on the door. "Bethany what are you doing?" There was some mumbling then footsteps and the door unlocking.
"What do you want Ainsley?" Bethany said, scowling at her older sister.
"To know what you're doing." Bethany opened the door wider, revealing a boy with black hair, green eyes and big nerdy glasses.
"I'm playing with Danny now go away!" Bethany yelled and slammed the door shut, almost pinching Ainsley's fingers.
She went back to her room and sat down turning on her music. She sat down at her desk and started working on her homework.
She kept working and working, and every single minute more felt like an hour more. She groaned and sighed every time a question got harder. Her hand started to hurt from writing.
She kept writing until she heard something fall.
It wasn't something heavy, it was something light. She turned around to see what it was, and saw a piece of folded-up paper on the ground. It was under her backpack, so it must have fallen out.
She put down her pencil and got up, and walked over and picked it up. She un-folded it and read it.
I don't know when you'll get this, but, i just wanted to say maybe we could hang out some time? ;) -Charlie Bennets
Charlie? Who was- oh yeah. Charlie Bennets.
The boy she met in the hall earlier. Was he trying to be her friend? What if he was like Stephanie and Jessala? He just wanted to make fun of her in front of anyone who wants to be her friend?
Ainsley groaned and crumpled the piece of paper up and threw it in the trash can.
She didn't need another Stephanie or Jessala, especially a boy version. She sat back down and went to writing.
The song she was listening to ended, so she turned on Daniel Powter's Bad day.
She was having a bad day, and not even her favorite songs could change that.

"Ainsley! Wake up!" She heard something yelling. She woke up. "Wha?" She asked, seeing her little sister, Bethany in the door way.
"It's time for school! You fell asleep!" Bethany screached and ran off.
"Oh no." Ainsley said, looking at her beeping alarm clock. She must've fallen asleep while she was doing her homework! She immediately got up and stuffed everything in her backpack and ran downstairs.
She headed out the door and just in time, to miss the school bus.
She saw the school bus driving off, and she immediately ran after it. She finally caught up and got inside. She walked down the aisle, everyone covering up the open seats next to them. She found a spot in the back and planted herself there.
Thankfully, Stephanie and Jessala were too snooty and upper-class to ride the stinky, smelly and gross school bus.
Ainsley sighed and put on her orange headphones.
She immediately thought of what she didn't get to do. She didn't get to shower, or brush her hair, or change her clothes, or eat breakfast, or pack a lunch for herself, or money. Her phone was probably dead as well, and she only finished half of her homework.
She didn't need a fortune-teller to tell her that today would also be a bad day.
Sorry this is such a short chapter guys, i couldn't think of anything else to put in here.
