Chapter 6

Previously...

She found him at the table waiting. she grabbed his hand and pulled him to the dance floor. just as the next song came on. He snaked a arm around her waist. she leaned against his chest until the song was about to end she then looked up into his eyes to catch them looking right back at her. She then leaned up and kissed him.

Now...

The kiss was fulled with passion as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She pulled him closer crushing every part of them together.

he wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her. she gasped and smiled in surprise. she then put her hands on his cheeks grasping his face as he kissed her more. When they finally came up for air her hands snaked around his waist as his came to cup her cheeks

"Do you know how long I've wanted to do that." He said brushing his thumb over her lips causing her breathing to shudder.

"Probably as long as I've wanted you to." She said laughing 

"Was it worth the wait." He asked smiling as her hand went to his face as his dropped to her waist holding her against him. Then all of the sudden her other hand was on the back of his neck

"You tell me." She said pulling him in for another kiss.

Their lips had just met when suddenly she was thrown across the room. her eyes shot open just in time to see what was happening.

Clark.

Clark had thrown her and was now walking towards her as she hit the wall going through it as she landed on the cement parking lot rolling. She then saw Bruce running to her and drop to the ground puling her so she was sitting up against him..

"You lucky this time Bruce. Next time you wont be." 

"The next time i won't forget the kryptonite." 

"Watch you back Bruce."

"Or what you'll take me for him." Diana said.

"Yes." He Replied smiling.

"You can try and you are will fail."

"Don't forget What i said earlier Diana." He said stepping towards her.

  "We will never be done. Don't Forget Diana he's a mortal man. you know how easily they can be broken."  His words shoot through her freezing her veins.

"You have no control on me or my life anymore." She said she then turned around and kissed Bruce again.

"HOW DARE YOU." HE said as he shot towards her. she pushed Bruce safely away. But before she could move herself he plowed right into her waist grabbing her and taking her up punching her in the process. He then throw her down towards the earth.

she hovered in and out of consciousness as she tried to slow herself.  She then stopped a few inches from the pavement. she then got up and ripped off the rest of her ripped dress to reveal her wonder woman outfit. She then saw Clark walking towards her in his superman outfit.

"HOW DARE YOU!" He said.

"HOW DARE I WHAT, HAVE A OPINION, BE MY OWN PERSON, OR WHAT BE WITH SOMEONE WHO'S NOT YOU." She yelled

"YES HOW COULD YOU WOULD CHOOSE A MERE MORTAL OVER ME."

"YES. IN A HEARTBEAT IT WILL ALWAYS BE HIM. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN HIM."

"WHAT." He yelled as he grabbed her and shook her

"I grew to love you Clark but with with Bruce i never grew it was instant."

"And you were happy i cheated."

"NO I WAS HURT AND ANGRY. AND I STILL AM." She yelled. 

She then slapped him. His hand immediately grabbed her throat and lifted her up in the air. He then whispered so only she could hear him.

"Remember this Diana. He is a mere mortal. i will only give you so long to snap out of this, then i will end him or you can willingly come with me then."

"Why ... do... you...even.... care... you... don't.. own... me.. Clark Kent... and... I.... can..... and ....will.... expose you... and.... ruin.... your ..... life." She gasped smiling and continued as she clawed at Clark's squeezing hand

"Poor.. Martha... and ... Jonathan.. when.. the...town... finds... out... they... hid.... a..... MONSTER... for...20.. years.." She gasped as her eyes closed and she still clawed at Clark's hand.

"YOU WILL LEAVE THEM OUT OF THIS." He yelled as he gave one final squeeze.

Diana's eyes closed and her hands fell still as her side. Clark dropped her and ran away blasting in to the sky.

( A Few Days Later)

Diana awoke in the watch tower infirmary. She felt a hand holding hers. she opened her eyes to be blinded by the florescent lights. Once her eyes adjusted she finally looked at her hand only to smile at the sight of a passed out Bruce leaning with his head on his folded arms as he held her hand. She looked around to see the one thing she never wanted to see again. Clark's cape with the house of El symbol hanging on the edge of the bed as i way to say that he'd been here. She started trying to back away from it as if it where fire she then felt like something was choking her. she jerked her hand out of Bruce's as she clawed at her neck trying to get the neck brace off. her breathing quickened and her heart rate monitor started to beep like crazy as her pulse shot to 150 Bruce suddenly shoot up out of the chair as martian man hunter (John.) came in. He restrained her as Bruce removed the brace and stroked her cheek.

"Diana. Calm down no one going hurt you i'm here to protect you." He said as he kissed her forehead he then kissed her brow. her heart rated slowly returned to normal as he kissed her nose and then each of her cheeks. He then grabbed her hand in both his and brushed it against his lips giving it a feather light kiss. John laughed as her heart rated spiked a little at every little movement he made towards her.
