A blanket lay on the edge of a grey lake. A sleeping girl lay on the soft plaid fabric. The sunset turning everything to a light orange around her. A soft hand touches her cheek and she slowly opens her deep green eyes. She sat up, grabbing the hand that, a moment before, was stroking her cheek. Bright blue eyes stared down at the interlocked hands of a boy and a girl. Their eyes meet and the boy smiles, thinking about all of their memories much like this one. Their many dates, and small moments all seemed blurred together. For in this moment the only thing that mattered was the small diamond ring on the girl's hand and the wide band of matching gold on the boy's. They were together, and no one could change that not now and not ever, because in this moment they had each other and always would. Just like the vows, they had spoken at that small church several months ago, had said, "'til Death do us part".
