I grab my pencil. Let's get started. Start with the mortals, an afterlife, all the standard stuff, and then I give it all time to settle. OK, before I start the main plot, guess I'll have some fun. I hold three souls, Hero, Villian, Null, the entities of good, evil, and logic. On my level if not stronger. Could be fun to have a few misadventures. Let's see where this goes. I give them physical form.
Hero and Villian fail to form. Well, that's what I get for not making anyone truly good or evil. I take my journal, it can break the rules of reality I write, "despite the fact that there was no such thing as true good or evil, Hero and Villian formed anyways."
Hero and Villian take physical form.
"New world?" Villian asks.
"Yeah," I smile.
"We gonna break in?" Hero asks.
"Ohhhh yeah," I smile, "where to first?"
"A tropical planet," Hero suggests.
"I dunno," I reply, "the only one I made in the multiverse that's close is inhabited mostly by racist plant people."
"How about Hell?" Villian asks.
"No," I reply.
"We should probably hurry up and decide," Null reminds, "after all, when the plot starts we're gonna have to deal with that."
"Already set that up," I explain, "don't worry about that. The bigger problem is that I don't have a physical form yet so I'm only on the astral plane. I'm more of a tour guide than an author right now."
"Well," Null sighs, "I guess we should just look around. Could be fun."
"Did you say fun?" Hero asks, "what happened to mister logic?"
"I told you," Null replies, "when I'm not dealing with important stuff I allow myself to feel. It's great. Anyways, let's go to say, I dunno, the thirteenth million planet you made."
"Sure," I reply, "Null, telaport us."
We arrive on the planet instantly. A cool, planet with mild summers and heavy snow in the winter. It's currently spring on the planet, so it's fairly calm, having only light flurries.
"What now?" Null asks.
Villian makes a snowball behind Null's back. "Turn around," Villain mischievously smirks. Null turns around only to get a snowball to the face. Smiling, he makes one and throws back.
The two begin to have a snowball fight. Meanwhile, Hero slowly backs away and begins building up a huge snowball, rolling it uphill with superhuman strength. This is gonna be good I can tell.
As Hero reaches the top of the hill, he whistles. Null and Villian turn around, and see the massive thirty foot tall snowball. Hero lets it roll. Null and Villian are to slow to react. Hero laughs gleefuly.
Then, I see something, a flicker, a blink, a spot in my vision, a shadowy figure on the horizon. How odd, after all, this planet has yet to have any life that doesn't stay in the caves, and I scraped the only character close to what I saw. I blink and it's gone. I look back at the massive snowball, only to see the figure in its path. The snowball stops right in front of the figure. The figure melts it with black fire and approaches me.
"Howdy," he smiles, extending his arm, "name's the It, but you can call me I.T., and I'm an entity just like these three..."
