Hey snitches and witches, I hope you enjoy this chapter, I decided to mainly stick with doing POV's. Ya'll should tell me what you think about Cynthia :) Also, I love getting fan art of character's or covers or scene's so don't be shy :)
Cynthia's POV
It was extremey obvious to me that whoever had shot me up with salt, was a hunter. No normal person walks around with guns of salt, and having heated sex in motel rooms at the same time...
I groaned and remained lying on the ground a few miles from the motel. My energy was at an all time low and I felt as if I might just sink into the ground below me.
"Damnit Cynthia, why couldn't you just not be nosey for once?"
I had to admit though, the view of that guy was worth getting salted, that's a fact.
I brushed a lock of my blonde hair behind my shoulder and sat up from the ground. Well, now I've lost my cat. GREAT.
I was still very confused as to how they saw me anyway. Had I gained enough energy to be seen and not noticed? Either way, now I was weak as hell and I didn't know how long it would take me to gain that much energy back. Maybe I should just focus on finding my cat.
"Oh hey." I said pulling my eyebrows together to see the grey cat standing beside my feet, a loving and worried look in its eyes.
It must have followed me here or smelt me, whichever... I smiled and tilted my head to the side.
"You must like me huh?"
He, or she purred and desperatley tried to rubbed his or her face against my leg, which was pretty much like trying to grab air. I frowned as the cat fell over on its side for a moment.
Hmm. I thought moving to look underneath the cat for a second.
Okay, boy.
I laughed and thought about naming him.
"I'll call you Hero." Cause he has saved me from my loneliness, sorta.
"I wish I could pet ya." I said softly my heart sinking a little.
There were many things I wish I could do, saddly they were never going to happen.
Perhaps thinking about the naked man would make me feel better. I chuckled and crossed my arms over my chest. I wonder what his name is, I wonder if I'm strong enough to blink to where he is?
Hmmm.
No Cynthia, probably not a good idea to stalk a human who happens to be a Hunter. An obvious one at that... They were lucky no one else was there. I wondered if they got caught often.
I hadn't known about Hunters very long, I wasn't sure what all they hunted nor what else was out there besides Ghosts and of course Demons, everything else I was not aware of, at least not yet.
I had only been dead about 6 months, at least I think it was 6 months, it all just felt like a very long week, or dream. The first few weeks I had spent trying to figure out how to stay in one place, I was happy to say I had grown in some knowledge since I woke up staring at my body lying in a casket.
I was lucky to not remember much of my death, besides it being cold, I had no idea.
I was born in the small uptight town of Auburn Georgia, where blondes are all dumb and men who don't where work boots and drive trucks to their Blue Collar jobs are not considered men. When I decided to go to college to work in Education, and Literature for that matter, everyone expected me to fail, disappoint my family and end up married to a beer junky with 4 kids by 25, and a chest of cillecone.
