*Bucky's Pov*

"Hey uh Steve?" I say quietly while walking up to Steve, who was on his way to the questioning rooms on the other side of the Avengers tower. The boy who had attempted robbing the building with Kylee was being kept there. "Yeah?" Steve asks without looking at me. "Maybe we should let the boy and Kylee go..." I suggest. "Why would we do that? We don't know what these kids are capable of, so we need to keep an eye on them." Steve says while still walking to the room the boy was sitting in. "They don't seem harmful. Look Steve we don't know anything about Kylee and this guy's past and keeping them here like prisoners is just going to make them go insane." I say. " You're right about one thing, we don't know anything about these guys past's and that makes them dangerous." Steve says. I sigh. Steve stops in front of the door where the boy Kylee must have loved do dearly was sitting behind. "Really? Is that the only reason you want Kylee to stay here? Because she is potentially dangerous?" I asked. Steve says silent but then nods. I bit my lip. "Fine whatever Captain. What ever you say." I say sarcastically before walking away.

*Steves Pov*

I watch Bucky walk away and sigh, then I turn around and open the door in front of me. I bit my lip as I walk in. Sitting at the table was a young man about the same age as Kylee maybe older. He was a bit taller than her and he had messy blond hair and he was wearing a grey t-shirt and ripped blue jeans. He looked up when I walked in. "Captain America! Hi! I just got to say I'm a big fan." He says before saluting me. I raise an eyebrow, this guy has a completely different personality compared to Kylee. "I'm Peter, by the way, Peter parker." He says with a smile.

*Buckys Pov*

I smile at Jessa who sat on the floor with her legs crossed in her room. Her room was strange, there were weird carvings in the wall that I couldn't really make out. So far, only one half of a wall had the carvings. I decided to ignore that, and instead strike a conversation with Jessa. "Anyways, like I said before I'm really sorry on Steve's behave for not letting Kylee and her friend go. I wish he would, I agree with you. Kylee needs to get out of here." I say. Jessa shrugs her shoulders,"I don't understand why you are apologizing. It's not you. It's him." Jessa says quietly. I nod and bite my lip. "It's just I hope you don't feel like I want Kylee to be trapped here like Steve does for some reason. I haven't been able to understand him lately." I say. Jessa nods and stays silent. "So anyway... C-can I ask you something." I ask. Jessa raises an eyebrow and nods. "I know we just met a few days ago and you have been a great friend to me but I don't know much about you other than the things you like and dislike...Um, could you maybe tell me what happened to you growing up, I mean about your past, You don't have to if you don't want to but you know I'am just curious about how you got your powers and why you have those scares on your arms and legs." I say quietly. Jessa's eyes widened when I mentioned her scars. "Sometimes I can see them when you forget to pull your sleeves down." I explain. "I, uh..." Jessa starts and her voice becomes a few degrees quieter. She rolled up her sleeves and pant legs. To my surprise, the scars weren't just cuts, they were words. Jessa started reading the words that had been carved into her flesh, telling me her story "I was abandoned by my parents when I was younger. I don't know why but I never knew them so I don't miss them. I grew up with my aunt and uncle. They homeschooled me. When I was nine, Hydra came. They killed my aunt and uncle and took me. They gave me my powers. I don't know how long I was there. But I escaped, and lived in the woods, I had already lived in the woods, in a house with my aunt and uncle so it wasn't too bad..I don't know how long I was there either. I lost track of the days with Hydra.. ..." She went into pretty vague detail about her past, but I don't blame here. Hydra wronged me too, and I don't like to talk about it. Actually, I totally understand how she feels. Well kind of... maybe not. But that story explains a lot, like why she's always so scared. I bite my lip when Jessa finishes talking, I felt so much closer to her now. "I-I'm so sorry." was the only thing I managed to say. Jessa shrugged. "Thank you for telling me Jessa. I just want you to know I will always be here for you if you need to talk to someone." I say with a small smile. Jessa smiles back and looks down. "Thank you." She whispers. I nod. We were silent for a while, by the time I looked back over at the clock it was 11:30. "Oh wow It's getting late I should let you get some sleep." I say quietly. Jessa frowned but nodded. She stands up and gets into bed. I tucked her in and walked out of her room closing the door behind me. I took a deep breath before smiling. I loved spending time with Jessa; she's kind, funny, sweet, and broken like me but most of all before I met Jessa I felt like I would never meet someone who could relate or understand me, but now I have and that thought made me smile everyday. I love having someone to talk to and relate too. "Ahem!" A loud voice called to my right. "Can ya get out of my way?" I swing my head around to see Tony standing in front of my with his arms crossed. I sigh and step out of his way. Tony walks by without thanking me, but he stops and turns around after walking past me. "Oh and Bucky? Stop flirting with the woodland freak, you can do much better than her." Tony scolds me. My cheeks heat up with embarrassment and anger. "I am not flirting with her! We are just friends and don't ever call Jessa a woodland freak ever again." I shoot back. Tony smiles. "Whatever you say Mr. defensive." Tony says with a smile and continues walking away. I growl. Jessa is just my friend, I say to myself, I don't have feelings for her, I continue, I take a deep breath. Right. That is all Jessa is to me, a friend. I hear a door close a few feet away from me and then some screaming coming from the same room, Steve's Room. I slowly walk towards it and put my ear up against the door.
