Desperation seeks my name, but I heed not his calls.
Envy would become my bane, but from him I withdraw.
Agony would rape my heart, but it's not his to hold.
Tyranny would rule my mind, but my will is too bold.
Hatred would take my body, to dominate my soul.
Leaving Hopelessness for Love, I start to gain control.
Open wide these tear-streaked eyes. Let me perceive the sun.
Vivid are its streaking rays, compared alike to none.
Empty was my hollow heart, yet now new love can flow.
Stopper not these shaky streams. Let Adoration grow.
Mold me after Love's image--a groom to match the bride.
Envision me in your light, so in peace I may die.
