Once you have finished writing the story, you have the option of making a author's note. A authors note is a note made to make the reader feel like the author knows who he/she is and usually makes the reader want to throw the book across the room they are reading in. Let me give you an example of one:
Hello reader. I am the author if you didn't notice the name of the page. Anyway, I hope you know that I know where you live reader, and as you read this, I am getting closer and closer to where you are. But other then that, did you like the book? Would you suggest is to someone else? Are you freaked out by what I just said? If you said yes to any of these questions, RUN.
