Never Got To Say, "I'm Sorry."

Luke and Han had taken off their storm trooper disguises and had their weapons in their hands.

"Now, if we could just avoid anymore female advice, we ought to be able to get out of here." Han said.

Offended, you elbowed him in the stomach.

"Hey!" He yelled.

You shrugged and looked away. There was a loud siren and Chewie ran off.

"What?" Han shouted.

He pulled his pistol up and shot at it.

"No wait they'll hear!" Leia yelled before.

She rolled her eyes when he did it.

"Come on. Come here!" Han yelled at Chewie.

"Look, I don't know who you are, or where you came from. But from now on you do as I tell you okay?" Leia commanded.

"Listen! I follow orders from just one person me! Got it!" Han yelled back at her.

"It's a wonder you're still alive. Will somebody get this big walking carpet out of my way?" Leia said.

"No reward is worth this." Han said. You tried to hide your laughter but your smile gave it away when Luke looked at you. He smiled too.
You followed the princess down some halls until Han took the lead and brought you all to a window.

"There she is." Han said looking at the Falcon.

"C3PO, do you copy?" Luke asked.

The droid spoke back into it.

"We're right above you stay where you are." Luke ordered.

You leaned against a wall for support. Your head was pounding and you felt weak.

"You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought." Leia stated.

"Nice. Come on!" Han said.

You followed him down a hallway and around a corner. There were some storm troopers and Han shot one.

"It's them! Blast them!" The one trooper said.

Han ran after them and they started to run, "Get back to the ship!" He yelled to the remaining three of you.

"Han!" You called.

"He certainly has courage." Leia stated.

"What good will it do us if it gets himself killed? Come on." Luke said taking the lead.

You followed him down hallways and around a corner. Several storm troopers chase after you. Luke fired his laser pistol wildly at them as you run. You eventually made it to a dead end and Luke nearly fell.

"We must've taken a wrong turn." He said looking around.

Laser bolts are shot and barely miss you. Luke swings Leia out of the way and shoots the control panel. The door shuts and you are trapped.

"Now what?" You ask.

"Find the control panel that makes the bridge across." Leia said.

"Oh, I think I just blasted it." Luke said.

The three of you stood there for a moment and Luke looked around.
More laser bolts began to fire from up above you. Luke handed his gun to Leia and began to pull out his rappeling hook. Leia shot at the troops and hit quite a few.

"They're coming through!" You exclaimed.

Luke threw his hook and it wrapped around a pole. He grabbed Leia and swung across. He came back across and took you. The storm troopers took their chance and fired. One of the bolts hit your ankle. You screamed in pain as you landed on the other side. Luke helped you up and you limped as fast as you could.
You caught up with Han and Chewbacca near the ship.

"What took you so long?" He asked.

"We, uh, ran into some old friends." Leia said.

There were more storm troopers guarding the ship but they weren't there for long. They ran off leaving the ship open.

"Now's our chance go." Han said.

Leia went first then, Luke and then you. Han and Chewie followed you three. Luke stopped halfway.

"Ben?" You heard him say.

'Oh no' you thought. You turned your head and saw your father fighting Darth Vader. He glanced over and smirked. Your eyes went wide as you saw your father lift his lightsaber in defeat and Darth Vader slicing his lightsaber through him.

"No!" You and Luke both screamed simoultaneously. Tears formed a river down your cheeks. There wasn't anything left of him. Just his cloak and lightsaber. Luke shot the Storm Troopers and closed the blast doors. He stopped like he had heard something.

"Come on, y/n!" He yelled running to the ship.

You did your best to get on. The door shut and you made your way to the room. Luke sat down at the table and picked at it.

"I can't believe he's gone." He said.

You looked at him with red stained cheeks.

"I just can't get over that about two years ago, I yelled at him and just left. It was pretty much the last thing I said to him." You confessed. "I never even got to say I'm sorry."

Luke put his hand on your shoulder and you looked deep into his eyes. A smile spread across your face as Han walked in.

"Come on, we're not done yet." He said.

Luke got up and followed Han. They climbed the ladder and helped to work the gun. You and Leia joined Chewie in the cockpit. Four TIE Fighters flew around th Millenium Falcon. They fired their laser blasters at the ship which shook it back and forth. Both Luke and Han shot at the tiny ships trying to get them off their tail. Two of them had been destroyed but here were still two more out there.
They both got one in range and shot it.

"We did it!" Luke exclaimed.

"We did it!" Leia repeated hugging Chewie.

You smiled lightly and then got up and limped to the other room. You sat down and Luke came in.

"You okay?" He asked.

"I'm not sure." You answered.

You had your hands wrapped around your ankle trying to stop your wound from bleeding. You felt a stinging and winced. Luke walked over and your eyes never left him. He grabbed a small cloth and grabbed your ankle. Slowly and gently he began to wrap it around. He tied it and you set your foot down on the ground.

"Thank you." You said.

He smiled at you and left the room. You watched him leave and then sighed.
