Jisoo was driving home from, yet another, canceled date. It was cold, rainy, and dark, and all she wanted to do was get to her apartment and curl up in her bed. Maybe even cry or scream in her pillows.

Her phone abruptly rang, causing her to flinch slightly, but she reached for it nonetheless.

Hobi <3  is calling... it flashed. She sighed, but picked it up anyways.

"I'm so so sorry! I was at the studio and I didn't realize how late it was and before I realized, it was already 9! I'm on my way over right now!" the voice on the other end panicked.

"Hoseok, I'm not at the restaurant, I'm going home." Jisoo sighed, trying not to sound too disappointed and mad.

She gets it, Hoseok is a really great dancer. He has a showcase coming up real soon. A really important one at that, but it still stung when she got stood up. It's not like it hasn't happened before anyways. Jisoo tries not to get mad at him. It's his passion, his life. Dancing meant everything to Hoseok, but she just wishes she could come before it sometimes.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Hoseok said. "Do you want me to come over? I'll pick up some Taco Bell or something." Jisoo bit her lip feeling guilty about being passive-aggressive at him.

"No, I just want to be alone. Sorry."

"But we never get to see each other anymore. I'm really sorry I didn't make it in time for our date, but I've been trying to perfect this choreography for the showcase." Hoseok explained.

We never get to see each other anymore because you're always held up at the studio. Even before this dumb showcase. Jisoo thought bitterly. "I know, but I just, I'm tired and I have a paper that's due tomorrow in English and I haven't even started it." She lied.

"Jisoo, I know that's a lie. You turned in your paper two days ago." Hoseok started to get agitated. "If you don't want to see me, then you shouldn't make excuses."

Jisoo's a pretty chill person, she'd like to think. She doesn't usually get ticked off, but right then she really didn't want to hear Hoseok anymore and snapped. "Excuse me? At least I tried showing up for our date. I do want to see you. I've always been happy to see you, but you're always at the studio. You're always busy dancing. You always stand me up giving me bullshit excuses like not watching the time!" Jisoo's voice getting progressively louder.

"You know how much dancing means to me! You know how important this showcase is to me! I'm sorry I haven't been with you lately, but I've been trying to balance dancing, school, and work!" Hoseok yelled.

"It hasn't even been recently that you've stood me up, Hoseok. You've been doing it for the past two months." She scoffed into the phone.

"Well it's not like you have tried either, Jisoo." Hoseok mocked. "Everytime I try to plan something, you say you can't because you already scheduled to hang out with Jin or Tae or Bomi! You could tell them that you're gonna hang out with me! You see them all the time, yet you still don't cancel on them once just to see me?"

"Well I'm sorry I'm not an asshole who cancels on people with whom I've already made plans with a week beforehand!" She yelled into the phone.

"If I'm such an asshole then why are you still dating me?" Hoseok yelled back.

"Fine, I guess we aren't dating anymore!" Jisoo declared.

"Fine!" Hoseok screamed.

Jisoo gripped onto her phone tightly as she took it away from her ear, about to end the call when she heard a loud horn and saw bright lights coming towards her.

The call ended itself, but before it could, Hoseok heard a loud screech then crash.
