The minute Valentina had practically dragged me away from the boys and straight to my bedroom to get work on everything about me for tonight. This type of situation that has occurred on Saturdays for our various gigs at nightly clubs of Los Angeles. She got to work immediately by going to over my closet of various clothing items. Seeing how she usually didn't need/want my help right now so I turned towards my bed and plopped right down on it. I let out a sigh of content as I snuggled more into my comfortable bed with the white fluffy pillows beneath my head. But that moment didn't last very long at long because of Valentina.

As soon as I had gotten way too cozy in my laying down position she had turned to me with quite a determined look on her face that probably wouldn't ever go away unless I had actually got up. A smiled had soon overtook her face once she saw me doing some sort of moving out of my spot. Letting out a loud and long groan that followed after I had finally gotten up from my comfortable bed that I just wanted to go lay back on. As soon as I was in a somewhat standing in front of Valentina the next sentence was probably the impossible thing to ever accomplish, maybe a bit of  an exaggeration, but still.

"Now, that you and Gabriel are completely done with, thank god by the way beacuse you guys had absoluely nothing in common like what did you even see him, brook?" A now hard look very much present on her face now that she was trying to figure out what did I even see him, hell I didn't even know. Trying to avoid her question that she badly wanted the answer to so instead I just cleared my throat trying to get her to take the hint that I wanted to change the subject. 'Um, Val, aren't we getting a little bit off topic here so why don't we go back to focus of this whole thing, please." My eyes had basically pleaded for her to drop it but she didn't. So she had continued on and on until somehting caught my attention. ". . . I know you guys have been broken up for a long time, like what six months or something like that, so thats why tonight is my mission to get you a guy."

I gaped her like a fish almost but then ended up closing mouth then finally speaking up, "Okay, so let me just get this straight, for the place we are performing at you want me to get with a guy and where my ex-boyfriend will be who is also the drummer and gets jealous super easily?" I questioned Valentina and looked at her like she was crazy, I didn't even doubt she was. I let my words sink in her head for awhile then moments later she spoke up, "Yes, exactly!" She had a grin on her face like she has just cured a disease that couldn't ever be cured. In response I just shook my head at her and turned towards my bed and just sat down on it once again and let out a heavy sigh.

I tried a different approach this time, "Remember how you tried this the last time like a couple years ago when I had broken up with that one guy?" She nodded and grimaced at the 'brilliant' idea that she had supposedly said that was so great. With that I continued on, "and then I got to know that guy a little more over some time and he turned out to be fucking weird as hell!"

Silence began to welcome over us as Valentina was probably trying to remember that whole experience between me and him. "Okay, I'll admit the guy was a little bit creepy with his whole smile and pretty much everything about him," She paused as we both shuddered at the thought of what he exactly looked like back then, "but brook, I have a feeling that this one will be an absolute great experience for you to get over Gabriel," Her eyes basically pleading for me to just accept her simple request.

I raised one of my eyebrows in surprise at the word 'feeling' and gave her a teasing smile, "A feeling, huh? Are you a psychic now or what?" The grin on her was very much well spotted and I guess she didn't catch the teasing in my tone, at all. "Actually-" I didn't even let her get a chance to finish her sentence knowing that it would most likely be a ridiculous theory nonetheless.

"Val?" She had turned towards me this time her voice coming to a halt and her mouth forming an o-shape when she stopped talking. "Yeah, no." I saw her face fall but then it being lit up again by another idea as she tried to argue back with me on this. "But what if-" Interrupting her again before she could actually get out another absurd excuse on her being able to predict things.

I figured it was about time for me to change the subject from this whole banter that has been going on between us for the past fifteen minutes or so. I had gotten up from the edge of the bed where I was previously sitting on but now standing in front of Valentina. "Okay, off of the subject of you supposedly being a psychic," we both let out a couple of laughs at the thought of her actually being considered as that. "but I will go along with this plan of yours," I had to cover up my ears with both of my hands on each side of them because of the very high-pitch squeal she let out rather loudly. I held a finger up signaling that I wasn't even done yet.

"If this whole thing blows up in our faces, I was not to blame since I just agreed to it." I let out a sigh as to that I can't even believe that I was actually saying yes to this plan. She nodded her head probably one hundred times it seemed like, "But if it doesn't blow up in our faces then you'll be thanking me later, trust me." I scoffed at the last bit of her sentence and muttered under my breath about how she couldn't be more wrong. Gratefully she didn't hear the little comment under my breath otherwise it would be hell is she did.

She began talking nonstop it seemed like and sooner or later I started to tune out her voice and zoning out of the conversation. Every once in awhile I would nod my head as if I was actually listening to whatever she is talking animatedly about with a bunch of hand gestures.

My attention was instantly brought back when I had finally looked up to see Valentina furiously snapping her fingers straight in my face, that girl did not know the meaning of the phrase, 'personal space'. "Since you obviously aren't listening to a word that is coming out of my mouth, lets get started, shall we?" A wicked looking type of grin took over her once focused

With my eyes glancing over at her as soon as she said that I hoped and prayed that she wouldn't go over the top like she usually does every single time. An extremely long sigh escaped my mouth as I eventually went over to where Valentina was standing with her hand on her hips as she examined my whole entire closet. I stood behind her keeping my mouth shut knowing she didn't like to be interrupted while thinking, as she has told me on multiple occasions.

Minutes passing by between us two in the silence of this room it seemed as if a light bulb has suddenly went off in her head, which is quite a rare thing for Valentina. She turned to me in a quick fashion her eyes practically lit up as she began to elaborate on this whole ordeal. "Okay, fine. Promise me that you will absolute not go to the extreme for this whole look." When she refused to meet my eye. "No promises!" She replied in a singsongy voice as I rolled my eyes and let out a groan.
