They stare at you. You keep moving forward, avoiding their stares. They don't know your story, they don't know what happened. If they don't know you, then why do they get judge you? You remember, and tears start to fall. You keep your head down and make no attempt of trying to stop them or wipe them away. After all the pain, you can cry. But just because you cry, doesn't mean you stop moving forward. You walk past them all: your friends, your family, everyone in town. They stare at you with both sad and questioning looks. But you ignore it all, and keep moving towards the end of town. They are all there, watching as you take one step closer out of the town.

When you're one step away from the edge of town, that's when you see it: him. He stares at you with a smirk, the smirk you once loved. Your eyes meets his, and for a second, you forget all he did, and you feel yourself wanting to run into his arms. But then, you remember it all. You remember that once upon a time, he was your safe place, he was your best friend, and the love of your life. But then he changed. He swore that if you stay, he would make your life horrible. And you couldn't take that chance. So, you take that one step forward, and say goodbye to the town that destroyed you, along with the boy who had stolen your heart.
