Fanfic (Kai)

Part 2

*Author's POV*

U and Kai started to hang out more after the incident. U felt more close to Kai so ended up spending more time with him then your bestfriend.  

"Yah! Where were u these few days? I called u but u didn't picked up. I texted u and u didn't reply. What happened? Is something wrong?" Your bestfriend, Jungkook said to u.  

"Oh? Aniya~ It's just that i met someone." U told him while giggling.  

"U... What? Is that person.... a guy?" He asked u while accidentally cracking his voice.  

"Hehe, maybe?" U said while both of u walked home together from school.  

Jungkook seemed more silent than before. U were uncomfortable with this silence so u decided to make a joke but suddenly u saw Kai closing up to u and Jungkook.  

"Hey, babe. Let's go out today!" Before u could reply Kai, he pulled u along with him leaving Jungkook behind.  

U felt guilty for a moment but it was replaced by joy as Kai brought u to a shopping mall and bought u things that u liked.  

"Kai... I'm hungry..." U told him.  

Kai nodded and brought u to a high classed restaurant. Both of u placed your orders and waited. As u were waiting, u could hear someone singing in the background. U decided to listen to it as everytime in this restaurant, there will always be a person singing to entertain the customers.  

Do you hear me? I'm talking to you Across the water across the deep blue ocean Under the open sky, oh my, oh baby I'm trying~

The song then came to an end. U realised that the song was Lucky by Jason Mraz. U were mesmerized by the person's voice as u listened to him while he strums his guitar and sang. Eventhough u did not look at the singer, u knew he was talented. However, u find that the person who sang the song have a familiar voice but shrugged it off as your food arrived. U were about to eat your food when u heard your name through the speaker.  

"Hyun Mi-ah"

U turned to look at the performing stage. Shockingly, u find Jungkook there with a guitar strapped on his body.  

"I assume u are having a great time with that person aren't u? Well, to be honest, i actually have feelings for u ever since the first day u talked to me. I was a new student then. It was my first day of school after transferring to your school. I was soo scared as i did not know anybody. My heartbeat was about to explode see-ing the unfamiliar faces but suddenly i felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and i saw the most beautiful person I've ever seen. It's u, Hyun Mi-ah. U offered me help when i was troubled, most importantly, u offered me a friend when i had nobody. Ever since that day, i started to have feelings for u, more than friends. Everyday, i think of ways to tell u that i love u but I'm scared of losing u. Actually, there's something that u didn't know about me, Hyun Mi-ah. I'm a coward. If I'm asked to watch a scary movie, i don't have the courage to open my eyes. If I'm asked to stand on high places, my legs will wobble. If I'm asked to touch a snake, i think I'll faint. I'm a coward, Hyun Mi-ah. But there is actually one thing that I'm most scared in this world and that is, to lose u. So, i plucked out my courage to confess u to. I know that your heart already lies with someone else so with this confession to u, i also took up the courage to let go of u, not as a friend but as my lover. *Turns to face Kai* Dude, please take care of her well. I want u treat her like she's the only girl in the world. Make sure you're at her front door everytime u send her to school because she doesn’t like to wait. Give her a text everytime before and after u go to sleep, wishing her a goodnight & good morning to show that u think about her before and after u go to sleep. Never ever gives her flowers because she hates being too mushy. Be by her side everytime it rains because she's afraid of the thunder. And most importantly, make sure u love everything about her. Make sure u love how she smiles, how her eyes blink repeatedly when she lies, how her nose scrunch up when she is about to sneeze, how she walks, the way she talks. Everything. If i ever find out that she shed one single tear because of u, i will not hesitate to beat u up."  

Jungkook ended his confession while looking back at u and smiled one last time before nodding at u and left the restaurant. U could hear ppl sobbing up and clapping to Jungkook's confession. U were actually mesmerised by what Jungkook had said. U never knew that u actually did all that Jungkook had said. U didn't know that actually, there is someone else who knew u better than u know yourself.  

"Wow. I didn't know your best friend had a 'thing' for u." Kai chuckled and continued eating.  

"Yeah....." is all u managed to say. However, u are still thinking about Jungkook and his confession.
