Chapter 6
Grace's POV
After the silent but comfortable 10 minute we pull up to an older looking diner called Sally's.
Before I have the chance to open my door I find it being opened by Brent and he helps me out onto the thin layer of snow underneath us.
"What are we doing here?" I ask.
"This is the first place I took you when you wanted to talk about all the was happening. The guy in the ally and some things about me." he says sitting across from me in the booth at the back of the restaurant.
"Oh. Um well what was the guy in the ally thing?" I ask confused.
Brent's POV
She wants to know about Emilio. Should I change the subject or tell her? If I tell her about that would she want me to go into more detail after I've told her about the ally incident?
Would she find out about all the bad things that happened to her because of me?
"Brent? What happened in the ally?" she asks breaking my day dream.
"Uh, how about I tell you later. Let's eat now." I say picking up the menu.
"What would you two kids like to eat?" a middle aged woman asks coming over to us with a pad and pen ready to write our order down.
"I'll take a chocolate shake and a side of fries please!" I say nicely to the lady.
"I'll have the same Charlotte." he says to the lady that he seems to know.
"Ok. I'll be right back." he says with a smile.
About 5 minutes later she comes back with our shakes and fries. I immediately take one of my fries and dunk it in the chocolaty goodness in front of me.
"Ew, you're disgusting!" Brent says seeing me pop the fri in my mouth.
"Have you ever tried it?" I ask.
"No. But it looks disgusting." he says.
"Don't knock it till you try it. It's delicious." I say putting another chocolate shake covered fri into my mouth.
"Fine." he says picking up a fri and dunking in his shake.
He chews it slowly with a weird look on his face.
"Like it?" I ask him hopefully.
"That's actually not bad at all." he says eating another.
"See! I told you!" I say laughing.
"You were right!" he responds with a small laugh himself.
"You wanna go for a walk?" Brent asks once we are done eating.
"Sure." I agree even though it's 20 degrees and snowing.
He leaves a tip on the table and was walk out the the small diner.
The first few minutes we both walk in the cold silence with our hands buried deep into our pockets until he speaks up.
"Grace?" he asks his voice sounding different.
"Yes?"
"Umm well I'm pretty sure I already know your answer to this question but... Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Brent... I'm sorry I- I just don't remember and I think it's best to just be friends while I'm figuring everything out. I don't even know my feelings for you." I say shifting my eyes from the ground to his.
"Well maybe this will jog your memory." he says moving closer to me looking in to my eyes while sliding his hands around me waist.
My breathe hitches in my throat at how close he is and all at once he tilts his head down and puts his lips in mine.

I seriously think I have read all the Bad Boy books on Wattpad. Like seriously some people are addicted to drugs, I'm addicted to bad boy books.
If you guys know any bad boy books on here let me know! I've probably read them but maybe I didn't!
Well I have a basketball game tonight against our biggest rivals 😡
The thing is I have to play defense on their biggest girl who has like 50 pounds on me and is my height if not taller 😁 and I probably won't get pulled out unless I get hurt so I'm going to be so tired!
