Leya had just finished meeting some more souls in a fancy restaurant, seeing if she could find a love interest, but she didn't. She didn't feel sad, for no one feels sad in the after realm. She decided to talk to her mom. But her mom didn't appear. This was the first time it happened. She then wished to explore everywhere her mom could be in the after realm, and she did, but there was no mom.
Where could my mom be, Leya wondered. For the first time in the after realm, she felt worried. She wished for answers. She appeared in a crowd of other souls, all with the same confused aura, crowded around one giant and powerful soul. The soul didn't speak audibly, but instead put the ideas inside everybody so they understood.
Apocalypse started....
So souls could all die....
And be replenished....
Then start again....
New world....
New mortals....
Reincarnation....
Start over
Leya wondered more things. The answers popped up.
Who are you?
I was a spiritual expert when I was a mortal. I have been prepared for this. I know all there is to know.
Where is my mom?
Likely reincarnated.
Leya never felt this sadness since she came to the after realm. She wished to gaze upon her mom. She could. Her mom was a baby, screaming and wailing as her friend, now a woman, lie on the ground panting.
Has it really been so long that she had become a grown woman? Leya wondered. And she realized that this baby wasn't her mom anymore. The soul was the same, but this baby had no memories or any part of her mom that the baby could access. She asked the large soul,
Will my mom remember her past life when she does now?
No.
The chilling word echoed through her soul. She never got to say an actual goodbye. She took her mom being there for granted. And now her mom's soul has forgotten about her and everything. Her teeth chattered. There was one friend she saw a few seconds before she found the expert.
Druella, I want to see you
And Druella is there. She also seemed distressed.
"Did someone revive with you too?"
"Yes, Leya...I'm so scared..."
It hit Leya that it could happen to her too. She'd lose  all of her memories and be in a broken, chaotic world were she'd suffer.
Leya said, "I don't want to live, Druella. I want to stay dead. This is where we belong. The mortal realm is temporary and so painful."
Druella continued, "Yes, and also, we would lose everything. Oh no no no, how can we stay dead? How can we kill everyone and bring them back here? Is there even a purpose to have a mortal realm? Or us? Anything?"
Leya tried to keep calm. "The purpose isn't our problem. We need to find out how to unite with everyone, in the after realm. There's an expert we can ask."
Druella must've wanted the expert, because it appeared.
I am the expert. I will answer all you wish to know about the matter. No, you can not bring back your loved one's soul with all the memories, not until the soul has reached The End. And that ties in with the purpose question.
