Emma's POV

'Run!' Nichola shouted, through our mindlink.

Following what she said, I ran and let my paws thump loudly at the green grass beneath me.

Adrenaline rushed through me, I saw a huge black wolf infront of me. Guessing it was the leader of the rogues, I pinned him to the ground and growled loudly until I did what I have always done. Kill.

Every single time I kill a rogue, there's always that small part of me feeling guilty because the rogue might've had a mate and kids. Poor rogues, but they are ruthless and cruel to the royals!

'Emma and Nichola, go back to the pack house.' My dad ordered in the mindlink.

I glanced at Nichola and saw that she was fine. She softly came towards me and nudged me to come with her.

I obeyed and sped through the woods with my best friend, Nichola.

We were both the best fighters, but I was the always the best as I'm that perfect Alpha's Daughter. I skipped grades because of how great my GPA was.

As we ran with our paws, I can see the huge white marble pack house more like mansion nearing by. I saw my mother smiling warmly with some clothes with her.

Both Nichola and I, shifted feeling that great feeling when I shift. My mother carefully handed the clothes to us and turned around and left.

"Why was the Luna... quiet?" Nichola asked while putting her white long sleeves and blue jeans.

"I honestly have no idea. She was just like that since this morning." I answered while getting dressed with my brown hoodie and washed jeans.

We both walked up the front porch and entered the house. It smelt how normally a pack house smells. Woodsy aroma around me and it felt, home.

We both guided ourselves to the marble stairs and walked up to the office to talk to dad.

Upon reaching, I softly knocked.

"Come in!" My father said.

I sighed and opened the wooden door with Nichola at my side and walked in.
My father signaled us to sit down to the two cushion seats infront of him.

We both sat down and stared at my father, waiting for him to say something.

"Girls, you both are going to King Damon's 20th Birthday Party."

I didn't know it will be the start of a whole new journey.
