Jay D and Destiny set off toward the park, they walked briskly through the dark cold veil of the night, both keeping the silence, and avoiding the intense darkness that lingered at every turn. Destiny kept a steady pace although the uncharacteristically frigid temperature that seemed to be declining exponentially bothered Jay, She didn't even shiver it was like the temperature didn't bother her at all. She walked fast and uncontested by any factor, Jay watched Her closely as they walked, allot of things threw him off about this girl, she didn't complain a bit about the cold, she walked as if she were floating, and her skin was freezing to the touch, and he observed something else too, while his breath was visible in the freezing atmosphere, hers didn't show, like it wasn't there. Jay D struggled to keep up with Destiny, she seemed to almost levitate over the terrain, just like the girl Marie, Jay. Kind of admired her grace though it disturbed him. They crossed several streets that were eerily quiet, not a single vehicle, person or animal in sight or sound, it was normal for the streets to be relatively empty at that time of night, but the streets were dead, not even a sliver of life peeked through the impenetrable shroud of the cold, dark silence. It sent shivers down Jay's spine as he pictured the horrors that could await him in the pitch black, he suddenly shuddered and quickened his pace at the thought. Fortunately destiny had assured him he was safe with her, though he was unsure if even that comforted his anxiety, people, no; monsters were hunting him, like an animal he was being tracked and watched, observed, Jay could feel eyes prodding him from the darkness, he could feel them looking and staring, evaluating his every move. Destiny slowed her pace as they passed the park entrance where earlier that night Jay's walk turned into a nightmare. Jay studied the area as they passed the light pole where the Vagrant was dragged away, he spotted several large blood stains soaked into the park sidewalk, Jay's heart skipped as he remembered the fear and anguish imprinted on the man's face before he was snatched into the dark. Jay sped up and ushered Destiny to do the same, she complied and increased her walking pace. Jay was relieved to rid his conscious of the memory as they walked out of the visual range of the violent scene.

"Well, looks like we're here," Destiny smiled and stepped forward,

They reached the center of the park, a large tree, and a towering boulder took up the huge area and was surrounded by a pond that stretched throughout the entire park. Destiny stopped and faced the boulder, she stepped forward and placed her hand on the stone. The area around her palm began to give off a subtle blue glow, Destiny muttered something inaudible and removed her hand revealing an odd glowing Symbol on the boulder. Seconds later the stone shook violently and revealed a passage, the opening was elaborately decorated with what Jay assumed was Japanese symbols. A heavy gust of air blasted from the opening, jay took a step back in awe, the magic mesmerized him. Destiny started her way into the den, Jay followed swiftly to avoid being left in the pitch black park. The entrance led straight to a long stone staircase, it took them several minutes to descend the length of the stairs. The way was dimly lit in only some place by rag torches, Jay admired the architecture of the staircase, he tried several times to take out his Kodak and snap a few pictures of the interior, Destiny was quick to stop him from doing so.

"This is a place of many secrets, its existence is one" Destiny explained hastily "the Kitsune's treasure their den, and others seek to destroy it."

When they finally reached the base of the stairs they were greeted by what Jay D guessed was a middle-aged man although his bleach white hair, piercing eyes, and textured face said otherwise, he was wearing a gray zip-up hoodie with what looked like leather spaulders and straps that looked like they were made to hold an arsenal, he also wore black combats. Other than the long furry tail draping off his back, and the furry pointed ears, Jay D recognized something odd about him, he stood tall and proud, he had an aura that was so strong it seemed to even have a scent. Jay noticed a change in the air as they went further down the stairs, it was more alive, and energetic kind of mysterious in a sense.
