[Chapter 2] Love Opened His Eyes

Prince Soma laid in his bed during the night until dawn, unable to sleep. His mind kept wandering to the girl that was dancing in the library. The sun was just rising when he jolted up "I must tell Agni!" he shouted and ran out of his room to Agni's. He barged in "Agni! I have to tell you something!" Soma said with a tone of happiness in his voice. Agni turned to him "What has happened, My Prince?" he asked with a slight worried tone.
Soma sighs and walks to him. "I'm in love." Agni looks at Soma and smiles "Is it true? You have found the one?"
Soma nods and drifts off in thought. Agni shouts and hugs him. "Oh congratulations, My Prince. When shall I meet her?"
Soma gives him a blank stare. "You can't, she is the woman Sebastian talked about in the library.. I didn't talk with her, but her dancing has such grace and beauty.." he turn a bright red.
Agni sits Soma down and Soma tells him everything, what he heard, what he saw, and how he felt.

A few hours passed and Agni was determined to find the woman Soma was talking about in the library, no matter the costs. He wants his prince to be happy, he looked at Soma. "What time did you see her?"
"Three-thirty to four in the morning." Soma said to him. Agni nodded "I promise you will meet her!" Agni shouts.
Soma looks at him and tears up happily. "I'm holding you up to that promise." Soma said with a smile

Time passes, about 3 hours approximately. Soma is in his room day dreaming of his mysterious goddess. He smiles and mumbles to himself "You are the moon of my life, my sun and stars..." he sighs at the thought of holding her.
Well, it just so happens Agni is walking through the halls and he sees the woman walk around the corner. 'Soma was right, she is gorgeous.. From behind..'
She walks through the hallways quiet, looking down at a book. Agni walks to her and clears his throat, "Excuse me miss..?"
The woman looks at him, her voice like silk when she speaks "May I ask your name?" A rare and Radiant beauty lies on her face and body, but her rare, pure and beautiful soul can be seen as well. Agni bows. "My name is Agni, I am a butler to Prince Soma Asman Kadar. May I know yours?"
Her lips form a small smile, she has heard of Prince Soma. "My name is Aalia Basu." she says softly, closing her book. "May I meet this prince?" she asked sweetly.
Agni blushes softly and nods. "Follow me Mistress."

Agni leads Aalia to Soma's room. Agni knocks on the door, Soma's voice could be heard from inside. "Come in."
Agni opened the door. "Somebody would like to meet you..."
"Hello, Prince Soma." Aalia said to the Prince.
Soma looked at her in amazement. He slowly got up and walked to her. "You are more radiant than the sun, Darling. I saw you dance last night, you were so graceful and beautiful. I had to meet you, My Goddess. What is your name?"
Aalia smiled and blushed. "How sweet, you know how to captivate a girl with words." she paused and watched Soma cheeks turn red. She giggled and replied "Aalia Basu."

Prince Soma felt his heart drop, he smiled at her. "That is a beautiful name, Aalia meaning Exalted, Basu meaning Gem and Radiance." he felt his blood boil as he reached his hand out, waiting for her to grab it as if they were going to dance. Aalia put her book down and gently grabbed his hand, she didn't love him the way he loved her just yet. She danced with him and smiled, he spoke softly "When you danced, I couldn't stop watching, you were so perfect. I couldn't help but fall for you. Such a majestic young woman you are, I want to ask you something."
"Mm?" she hummed in response.
"Would you like to be my Wife?" as soon asked that question Agni was in tears. He was happy for his prince, he awaited her answer, but Aalia told him. "My Prince, don't you think we should get to know each other first. We should see if the spark exists before we jump ahead. Although, you are a handsome Young man." she smiled as Soma blushed. She stopped dancing with Soma. "I will see you tomorrow." she said as she bowed, grabbed her book then left.
Agni walked to Soma, the Prince just fell backwards into Agni's arms. "I am in love." Soma had a longing look in his eye, Agni could see it. 'My Prince wants to wake up by her side.' he thought.
"Now Prince Soma, you should rest. You have had to much excitement for today."
Soma nods and walks to his bed, laying on it and smiling like an idiot. His eyes close as he thinks of Aalia. Agni tucks him in and sits by the bed in a chair as Soma falls asleep. Agni watches over Soma until he lays his head on the bed, and falls asleep.
