I could smell them. Two of them. Both werewolves. I growled softly as my ears picked up the small sound of someone's breathing. They were closing in on me, this was just great. I let my wolf take care of my senses as our eyes roamed the perimeter searching for the slightest movement. There to the right of us. She said to me and I turned slightly to the right and started to walk slowly the the eery shadows of a old statue. One of a angel; her wings covered her peacefully as her hand touch a rose holding it close.I could see the figure move slightly as they noticed my slow approach.
"Why are you here?" I questioned but didn't get a answer. Typical "Of all places you come to this one...where my family and friends lie in peace. Show yourself!" I growled my voice echoing in a demand throughout the grave yard.
A tall stocky man appeared wearing a grey hoody and dark denim jeans. His eyes bright green staring strongly into mine. I grinned a bit and took another step forward, as did he. "Do you really think that you can win against me?" I questioned trying to get him all worked up.
My wolf inside me was getting closer to the surface as did his. I could sense it before he even noticed that his wolf was surfacing. It made me a bit nervous being that I havn't gone wolf in a year or so. The feel of it would be completely different from the other times. Completely new. More alive and exhilarating. I took another step forward my hands on my hips as he chuckled.
"You must be the rogue?" he questioned, his voice a bit raspy. I could smell the sickness flowing off of him. I tried not to gag. I watched as a second person another guy stepped from the shadows. Grinning at me.
"Yes I am..." I growled. "Who wants to know?"
They both seemed amused by how I was reacting to them. The second guy who had just appeared spoke first. "I'm sure your in great terms with knowing who Marcus Trevino is?" he leaned causally against the statue.
"Yes I am. Why?" I could feel the fear within me, but I was strong enough to hide it from them. I glared as they both moved forward a little bit to fast. I withdrew my stance and began stepping back. I was to focused I them to notice that other had joined us. Before I could catch the other scents on the breeze I was tackled to the ground. I could feel my vision get blurry, but I surpassed that. Not today.
I kicked the person hard in the gut and listened to their painful groan as they fell over. I didn't waste another second before spinning to my feet and spinning around to see what I was up against. I let my eyes roam against the gathering of people. At least more then 10 started to surround me. Today wasn't going as planned. I growled softly and waited for the first impatient person to spring at me; which they did.
A young girl leaped for me, but I quickly dodge it ducking as she went over me, her head colliding with a tombstone. I could smell the blood before it even got the chance to form a large puddle beneath her head where she lay lifeless. another growl rippled as a large man lunged at me. Before I could dodge anything his large clenched fist connected with my face as I flew to the floor, wincing in pain. I quickly got back up a bit dizzy, it was my turn now.
Without thinking I went on instincts; I lunged at my other opponent and slid the knife from my jacket sleeve and landed on top of him burying the knife deep within his chest, and waited as his body stopped struggling beneath mine. I jumped back up withdrawing the knife from his chest. I quickly noticed that the others were taken aback by my sudden aggression.
