"OH. MY. GOD!"
Aria screamed, almost falling off the bed.

"YOU DID WHAT TODAY?" She asked her for the millionth time, sitting on the floor with a pillow in her hand.

There they were, sitting on Nandini tiny bed, some extra-cheesy pizza along with some soda laid out in front of them, as 'Leap Year' played on Netflix, as the clock struck 9:00 pm.

Nandini couldn't help but roll her eyes at her.
She was being overly-dramatic here. There was no denying that.

"For the love of God, Ari, STOP!"
Nandini said, annoyed, munching on her pizza.

"So did he ask actually ask you out?" She asked after a brief pause.

Nandini glared at her.
"I've already said a million times, and i will repeat it, IT WASN'T A GOD DAMN DATE!"

"Okay okay. Fine! Jeez!" She said, throwing her hands up in the air, getting back on the bed, grabbing the pizza slice Nandini was having.

"Hey!" Nandini shouted. "That was the last slice! And it was mine! This is so unfair!" She screamed at her.

Aria just gave her a pitiful look, before shifting her attention back to the movie, or more to pizza slice in her hand.

Nandini cursed her under her breath.

"I heard that." Aria said.
"Well, good for you, bitch." Nandini grumbled.
Aria stuck her tongue out at her.
Nandini narrowed her eyes at her and continued watching the movie.

After about an hour of peaceful silence, Aria sneakily looked at Nandini.

"Um. Did you guys have sex?"

And, well, let's just say all the pillows in that house were soon turned to shreds.

"Good morning!" The receptionist greeted her rather warmly, surprising her.

As promised, Manik had sent a car to pick her up, and as a result, here she was, in one piece, right on time.

"Good morning!" She replied with a smile, as she passed her.

She stepped into Manik's personal elevator, adjusting her blazer.
She hit the 75 button, and waited for the elevator to deliver her to her destination.

She stepped onto the plush carpet of Manik's cabin, as she started to make her way towards her own little cabin.

She peeked into Manik's cabin. It was 8:48 so he wasn't here yet.

She dropped her stuff in her cabin before leaving to get them some coffee. There was a high end coffee machine right on this floor that she had had failed to notice. She went to it and grabbed two black coffees and walked into Manik's cabin. She set his coffee on his desk, before moving towards the large French-windows, which showed a fabulous view of yjw city of Manhattan.
The sight left Nandini dumbfounded.

She felt like she was literally on top of the world. She touched the glass slightly, and gasped as the sight.

"Beautiful, isn't it?"

His voice made Nandini jump.
She turned around and sighed.

"Oh, its you. You scared me."
Nandini said, as her hand traveled up to her heart.

"I am sorry." Manik said, grinning.
Nandini squinted her eyes at him.
"What are you grinning at?" She asked him.

Manik chuckled, but nodded his head sideways, walking over to his chair and taking a seat.

"So you have four meetings to attend today. At 11:30, 2:00, 4:15 and 5:45 with the Paulter's, the Ford's, the Barr's and the Khurrana's respectively. The Paulter's presentation will be.."

Manik nodded, and sipped at his coffee as he concentrated on what she was saying.

Soon she was done. She handed him some of the files he had to sign and GI through, as she herself worked from her own cabin.

But Nandini couldn't help but just stare at his gorgeous face some times.

Time passed. Nandini noticed it was 11:30.

"Sir, the Paulter's are here." She told him, as soon as the receptionist informed her.
He nodded and got up from his chair, straightening and buttoning his blazer up.

Time swept by, as they had loads of work. The way she observed Manik handling everything blew her mind away.

Soon, it was time for the Khurrana's to show up. It was at a high end restaurant, and it was more like dinner than an official meeting.

Shed didn't want to join in, but Manik insisted. And so she agreed.

They soon reached the place they were supposed to be meeting them, when a skinny girl with a pretty face came up to Manik and gave him a hug, and held on to him, clinging to him with excitement and enthusiasm.

She noticed Manik didn't exactly share those with her. Manik seemed pissed. Soon, a man in his late 40s followed her.

"Mr. Khurrana." Manik shook hands with  him, trying his best to politely push the girl away.

Nandini wanted to grab her hand and yank her off him, and slap her right across her pretty, make-up clad face, but couldn't.
She just stood there like a lost soul, until Manik introduced him to her.

"Mr. Khurrana, this is my P.A. Nandini Murthy. Nandini, this is Mr. Khurrana, the owner of the Khurranas & Co." He said.

Nandini smiled at him and shook his hands. He returned the smile, as he brought her hand to his lips.
"Beautiful." He whispered.

Nandini felt a little uncomfortable, so she quickly took her hand back and glanced at Manik to realize that he wasn't too pleased with whatever happened either.

"Dad. Stop. Hi by the way. I am Soha. Soha Khurrana!" The clingy girl said to Nandini, as she forwarded her Hand towards her.
Nandini unwillingly shook it and gave her a fake smile.

"Nandini."
Nandini said.

They were settled at their table, Nandini next to Mr. Khurrana, and Soha next to Manik, to Nandini's dismay.

"Oh. Manik. My son. Can I ask you for a favor? Can you train Soha for me, please? Because its high time that she learnt about the business world, and who else better than you, to so that?" He explained.

She saw Manik reluctantly agree.

"So, she'll be working with you from now on. Are you happy now, sugar plum?" He asked his daughter.

"Yes dad. Thank you so much. I am so excited, this is going to be so much fun!" She said, clapping her hands together and giggling.

Oh, this was about exactly what the business world needed, a girl who clapped and giggled.

So much for competition in the business world, eh?

"Oh, yeah. So much fun." Nandini thought, sarcastically.

"I just hope she stays she stays away from Manik. If she doesn't, I swear to God, I'll kill her."
