Years past by and Luhan, now 15 years old, miraculously survived. How? He would steal food, clothes, and other goods he needs at a market. But it's very risky. He would often times get caught, but he manages to escape. Sometimes, he wouldn't eat for days because he would always get caught. Who said life was ever so easy? Now, Luhan has new plans in his mind, to steal from other people.

Luhan grinned as he ran up to a old woman and grabbed her purse. She shrieked, "Help me! Stop!" But of course, Luhan didn't stop. He needs whatever that's in there to  help him stay alive, like money for instance. She finally let go of her purse because the situation they're in is too much to handle and she's weak.

"Thank you lady," Luhan smiled and quickly ran away from the crowd. He continue to run on the cracked concrete sidewalk until he heard police sirens nearby. The abandoned factory, which is where he stays sometimes to hide himself from the world, is too far high up the hill. Instead, he runs to a house where no one lives. It's not abandoned or anything, people used to live there but they moved out. Luhan ran off the sidewalk, to the woods, looking for the path that leads to that house. The sirens faded away the more he ran deeper into the forest.  Luhan dropped his bag on the ground and put his hands on his hips, gasping for air. He sat on the ground, pulling the purse he stole closer to him. He opened it and found nothing but lipstick, a lighter, and a pack of gum and cigarettes. Luhan sighed, "Nothing good again..."

"Hey, you!" Luhan looked up and saw a tall boy about his age, staring down at him with a nasty stare. "Are you the one that stole that old woman's purse?" Luhan shook his head, lying.

"I don't buy it. I saw the whole thing happen in front of my eyes. I followed you here and I'm about to report you to the police," the boy continued as he pulled out something from his back pocket, a phone.

"No! Please don't! I'm sorry! I'm just very hungry and I haven't eaten in two days, I swear! I'm poor and.. h-homeless," Luhan cried, warm tears rolled down his dirty cheeks.

"No wonder you look like a crazy dirty man," he puts his phone back in his pocket and bent his legs down so he can be eye level with the homeless boy. "Name's Oh Sehun, but call me Sehun."

"Luhan.." he averted his eye's somewhere else, both of them are close that Luhan can feel Sehun's minty breath hitting his face. Sehun noticed that he was making sort of uncomfortable and stood back up. He held a hand out so Luhan can grab it.

"You should be lucky that I'm going to help you out," Luhan grabbed Sehun's hand and got himself back up on his legs.

His hands are so warm! Compared to mine.. they're just cold and dry..

"I'm going to let you stay at my house, for now. So don't think that staying at my house will be a permanent thing, okay?" Luhan nodded as he pats the dirt off his bum.

"Sehun? How old are you, if you don't mind asking?" Luhan asked as he looked at Sehun. He sure was taller than him and very handsome.

"15, turning 16 this April," Luhan nods, but he doesn't know the year, day, nor month. If he asked, he would sound very stupid and Sehun would probably leave him. "And you? How old are you?"

"I'm 15 too... but I don't know what month or day I was born... I don't even know what day or month we're in. I just know that we're in 2016," Luhan can hear Sehun laughing next to him, laughing all the air out of him.

"How long have you been homeless?" Sehun asked, wiping a tear that managed to escape from all the laughing. Luhan shrugged.

"Ten years ago, my mom left me on the old-looking factory that's on that hill. She told me that there's candy and I belived her. She told me too look in each and every room for candy, but I found none.. She also promised that she'd wait for me, but turns out that she has left me all alone," Luhan tried so hard to hold in his tears, but released them, dripping onto the ground.

"Oh, sorry man. It's March 1st," Luhan slowly nodded as he wiped his tears with his sleeve. Sehun softly pats Luhan back, feeling guilty.

"C'mon, let's go to my house," Sehun gestured Luhan to follow him home.
