Beginning

"Surprise!"

I fell back into Harry, who almost fell over as well. I felt Harry's right arm wrap around my waist, as I tried to regain my balance.

Streamers and balloons covered our living room. A pink and white banner hung from the ceiling. It read, 'This is your home, Baby Styles'.

"What is all of this?" I softly asked.

"A celebration for you and Harry and your baby," Kyla replied. She wore a light blue dress, bringing out her eyes.

"Why?" Harry and I asked in unison.

"Because you two made us all friends and into a family. We wanted to show our support and welcome home your newest addition!" Kyla smiled.

Louis from the other side of the room began to speak. "Your baby is also our baby. I already know I'll be helping to raise her. After all, I am her godfather."

"Um, I thought I was---"

Louis interrupted Niall. "Megan and Zayn brought cupcakes, too."

"And we helped clean your house up, so you could relax," Vivian added.

"And guess what else---Aria, are you alright?" Charlie asked.

I wiped my eyes, nodding. "Yeah...it's just that...I can't believe you all did this for us. It's...I'm speechless."

"Group hug!" Charlie exclaimed. They all surrounded Harry and me.

As I was squished, I opened my eyes to see my husband looking at me. Slowly he leaned as close as our friends' arms allowed to gently leave a kiss upon my lips. I smiled at him.

"This is our home," I whispered.

A cry from our feet broke us apart. All participants of the group hug broke away, and their eyes travelled to the floor. There, strapped in her carrier, lay my newborn daughter. After I bent down to unhook her and hold her in my arms, I heard Harry whisper in reply to what I said early, which was also a repeat of what the welcoming party banner had printed on it.

"This is your home, Baby Styles."
