Circle of Five

Chapter One

"Kathy, let's go! Were late for class!", Maureen said.

While going to Maureen's car, Jessie was talking to someone.

"OH MY GOD!! Is it true??", Jessie said.

Her four friends were wondering what was she blabbering about. So Jessie finally announced that they are all going on a trip to London for the school's newspaper.

"OH MY", they all said.

They got to school and head straight to the principal's office and asked when is their trip.

"Tomorrow at eight o'clock in the morning." said Mrs. Jones sadly.

After school, they started packing, but Jessie was the most excited of them all. While Jessie was packing, she saw in her box the picture hidden there for about a year. The picture was taken in Carter's house during a party, they were all in it, Jessie, Maureen, Carter, Jeff, Kathy, and Leah. The picture was taken the day the car accident happened, the day Lea disappeared.

Jessie saw the photo and sobbingly said, "I miss you Leah, I really do wish you were still here with us."

The next day they all went to the airport accompanied by Mrs. Jones.

Jessie was suddenly sad , but Kathy cared and caringly ask, "What's wrong?"

Jessie sadly answered, "I just remembered Leah, I saw our picture, the six of us actually  I just really miss her."

The five friends went to the plane with Mrs. Jones. In the plane, Jessie fell asleep and dreamed about Leah saying, "Help me!!!" Jessie woke up wondering whats the help for. A year ago, Jessie suspected that Lea was still alive because no one really recovered her body from the accident, only her shoes was seen in the investigation.

Maureen snapped her finger on Jessie's face and excitedly said, "Hello wakey wakey eggs on bakey, we're in London!"

Carter butted in and said, " Hey you were quiet since we came to the airport."

Jeff called the attention of everyone and asked them to go down and stop all the drama. Mrs. Jones got a cab and they all go to the London school where there was a secret house near the woods, which the school allowed them to stay for the summer long. Jessie and Kathy are roommates and so are Jeff and Carter, but Maureen wanted a room to herself to have a space for all of her designs. Jessie went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. While brushing her teeth, she stepped on something dirty and sparkly. Jessie picked it up and washed it, and she recognized the necklace, it was  Leah's necklace that she wore the day she. Jessie ran hurriedly to Kathy , and Kathy was shocked to see it was the necklace they gave Lea for her birthday. They both ran to their other friends and the three were very much surprised as Kathy and Jessie. 

Carter commented, " Why would her necklace be here died and disappeared back ih Ohio."

"Maybe someone took her body and placed her here in London." said Jeff.

"Maybe its just the same necklace as Lea's or someone kidnapped her." Maureen said.

"But who??" Jessie said.
