Marcus butler- friends?

Chapter 1 (The Truth)

Marcus looks up at me and smiles - I can't believe we have been best friends for over three years! I was sat on his bed as he was lying down. He had been going to the gym a lot recently and it was paying off a lot! He also had dyed his hair a while back which looks really good. He suddenly sat up on his bed and grabbed his laptop. He always does his work on there- he hasn't told me what he does but I don't really mind. I've met some of his friends like jim and Tanya who are so lovely and Tanya is a makeup artist so she was teaching me how to do my makeup professionally!
"So you've never actually told me what you do for a living." I say.
"Well why don't we leave it for you to find out?" Marcus says half smiling at me.
Every time we go out for lunch or something some girls come up to us asking me to take pictures for them and Marcus - I just think it's because he's good looking or something haha.
"So what are we doing today?" I ask.
"What do you want to do?" Marcus replies.
I think about it for a while.
"Shall we go to Brighton beach- I've never been it's supposed to be really nice there." I finally say.
"Yeah let's go!" Marcus says whilst changing his shirt he was wearing as he'd spilt coke down it. I turn away because I'm not going to stare st him whist he's getting changed and when he's done he grabs my arm pulls me off the bed. We walk to the car and I get in the passengers seat next to Marcus and we decided to play some music! I love Conor Maynard and when I heard a song that sounded like him and someone else Marcus changed the song.
"Hey i was enjoying that" I say pretending to be grumpy at him.
"Trust me you wouldn't like it" Marcus says.
Hmmmm i wonder...
We end up singing to closer by the chainsmokers and cold water by major laser which was so much fun! I couldn't stop laughing half the time! We finally arrived in Brighton and I look around the shops while Marcus has gone to do something. When Marcus arrives back he's got a crowd of girls following him. I just ignore it and give Marcus a hug.
"Let's go" Marcus says quietly.
"Okay why?" I ask.
"Please can we just go"Marcus looks upset almost so I say okay and we leave.
"Brighton is so beautiful!" I say with awe.
Marcus agrees. We head down to the beach where some children are playing and a couple is walking their pug. I start to walk along the beach with Marcus and we try to skim stones into the ocean. We sit down in the pebbly sand and talk. Suddenly the pug from the couple runs up to us and licks me and Marcus- we burst out laughing. Then a girl with great fashion sense and short blonde hair comes running to us.
"I'm ... so ... sorry " she pants.
"It's okay" I say.
"Ayyyy Marcus is that you" a boy has caught up with the girl and looks straight at Marcus.
"Alfie , ma man!" Marcus gets up and gives Alfie a bro hug. "Hiya Zoe !" And gives Zoe a kiss on the cheek and a hug.
I stand up and say hello and then I get introduced.
"Zoe and Alfie this is Kira- Kira this is Zoe and Alfie!" Marcus says grinning.
"Hiya"I say whilst hugging them both "nice to meet you"
"Marcus how come I've never heard of Kira before?" Zoe asks looking at Marcus who has turned bright red.
Did Zoe just say never heard. Is Marcus embarrassed of me or something? I look down disappointed and Alfie says
"Don't worry about it Zoe's the same" he chuckles. I smile at Alfie and bend down to pet Nala. Marcus stands there awkwardly. I bite my lip and say "Am I am embarrassment to you or something?"
"No no of course not" he replies confidently.
"Why have you not mentioned me to Alfie and Zoe yet then?"
"I don't know?" Marcus says blandly.
Alfie breaks the silence "lovely to meet you Kira but me and Zoe need to go as we have a meeting to attend to"
"Yes sorry" zoe says.
I hug them goodbye and say" lovely to meet you to ! I hope we can meet again."
I bend down and give Nala a stroke before following Marcus who had wondered off without saying goodbye. I chase after him and we get in the car and drive to my place. My cat Sally greets us at the door. As Marcus stands by the door I tell him to come in. He gives me an awkward smile as he walks in. We walk into my bedroom and i take off my coat. I go make me and Marcus some tea. When I get back Marcus had fallen asleep on my bed with Sally under his arm. I smile and put the tea on the dressing table along with my makeup. I sit on my bed and stroke Sally. I then get out my laptop and start writing stories because I want to be an author. At the moment I work at Starbucks. I hear a load groan after an hour - Marcus had woken up. He looked at me and asked me what the time was - it was half four. He apologised about earlier and said he should have spoken to Zoe and Alfie about me it just never crossed his mind and of course I forgave him. Later he stays for dinner and we order pizza from dominos and watch movies. We sit next to eachother and I feel really tired as it's now eleven and I fall asleep on the sofa next to Marcus...

I wake up the next morning to find Marcus making breakfast and he says "sorry Kira I didn't mean to stay the night I-"
"It's okay don't worry" I interrupt.
Marcus leaves early as he has a meeting to go to and leaves me with an English breakfast to eat. We made plans for later and I'm going to be going to his house. I look around my cosy apartment and decide to go on YouTube to learn about Starbucks haha. I look on YouTube and I end up watching why rhinos hate dogs? Anyway I then came across a youtuber called KSI and his friend Caspar Lee. I watched there videos and it was really funny. Then I moved onto a boy called Thatcher joe and he did a collab with his sister Zoe !!!! The Zoe I met!!?!? I'm so confused I then found her and Alfie's channels that's so cool!!! I freaked out I had to tell Marcus!!!

*Later that day*
I bring my laptop to Marcus's place and knock on the door he opens the door in his boxers.
"Marcus ? Hi!" I say.
"Wait did we make plans?" He said.
"Yes why?" I ask.
"I'm sorry i forgot please come in!"
I look at him and sigh. He gets changed and meets me in the kitchen. I decide we should bake a cake and we make a complete mess with the flour! I laugh and throw some flour on him and he picks me up and throws me over his shoulder and drops me on his bed. He then looks at me and helps me sit up. I take out my laptop to show him zoe and Alfie's channel. His face turns pale white and that's not because of the flower.
"What's up?"
"Nothing" he replies.
Okay I say.
I ask him if I can use his shower and he allows me to so I use his shower and wrap a towel around me. I ask him if I can borrow some clothes as he put mine in the wash. He gives me his smallest tshirt and I still have my own jeans because they didn't get covered. The tshirt is still to big for me and I laugh when I see myself in the mirror!

I have to leave because I'm working at Starbucks today for a late shift so I drive home and get changed into my uniform. I drive to Starbucks and I'm told to work at the till.
I'm talking to a customer when I think I saw Zoe walk in with Tanya. I continue serving the customers. They finally get to the front of the line.
"I'll have a pumpkin spice please and tan what are you having?"Zoe asks.
"I'll have..."
"KIRA?!??!" Zoe screams."hi!!!"
"Hi Zoe and Tanya !"
"You work here?" Tanya asks.
"Yep - for the moment anyway" I say " Zoe you've got a YouTube channel haven't you and so does Alfie! that's so cool I was showing Marcus earlier today!"
"What was Marcus saying about it?" Zoe asks.
"He said it's cool. Why?"
"No reason" Tanya and Zoe say at the same time.
I take there orders and Zoe gives me her number in case I ever need to talk to someone. I take it gratefully.

After my shift I check my phone- it's a text from Marcus it read ''meet me at the park near my house' I drive to the park and see him sitting on a bench he's looking around nervously. I approach him slowly. I sit down next to him.
"I have to tell you something"
"What is it?" I say.
"I am a -"
A bunch of girls see us and scream and run to Marcus and give him hugs. After he's done and the girls he finishes his sentence.
"Youtuber, im a youtuber"
