He stared at the barrel of her gun as he fell to his knees.

"You don't have to do this."

Tears stung her eyes. She breathed deeply, aiming the assault rifle at his skull.

"I wish that were true."

The sound of the bullet rung through the air. Heavy. Loud.

Followed by a thick and heavy silence, being broken as the female fell to her knees.

Her body shook as she sobbed, thick tears running down her cheeks.

"I-I'm so s-sorry."

The sound of a door sliding open fell deaf to the female's ears as she cried like never before.

"W-why m-me, w-why n-not s-s-someone e-else?!"

Anger and sadness was evident in her voice as she yelled at the female trying to comfort her.

The sun mocked her as she stepped outside. Bright. Cheerful.

Everything that she wasn't feeling.

The sound of quiet laughter drew her attention to the left along with her companion's.

Sitting on the lush green grass, underneath a large oak tree.

A shorter female with long messy white hair laughed quietly, she was petite and small looking. Black pleated skirt reaching mid thigh, over sized dark grey cardie with all the buttons undone the sleeves hiding her hands hid her figure effortlessly, her pale skin and small plump lips made the female smile slightly despite her mood at how cute she was. The girl had hazel coloured eyes lined with long black lashes, tears welling up in her eyes from laughing.

A taller female (Only slightly) dark brown hair reached her shoulders, curly and falling slightly over her eyes. A grin plastered across her pale face, making her deep green eyes stand out. She was donned in the normal school uniform. Black pleated skirt that reached mid thigh, white button up shirt with the sleeves pushed up to her elbows with a couple buttons undone, black tie loosened. Her black school blazer being tied around her waist. Just like the other girl this one was also petite and thin, their figures were both lean and looking like they could run miles before having to stop.

Beside them was two long black cases, used for instruments. Both closed and sitting close to the girls. Around 15 or 16.

"They're from the black class."

Those two words 'black'and 'class' made the female know they were from wealthy families. Politics. People with a lot of power and wealth.

Along with something many didn't know.

They were assassins, silent killers.

Wiping away her tears the female watched the two smile at each other.

"Lovers."

"What?"

"Look at them. Close. Happy. A certain spark in their eyes."

"They love each other."

Smiling at the two girls, the brunette had wrapped her arms around the white haired girl pulling her close. The white haired girl, having her arms locked around the brunette.

That's when the female noticed the two were kissing.

Blushing furiously the female looked away.

"They're cute."

"She has a sprained wrist."

"What?"

Snapping her head back in the girls direction the female's eyes narrowed as they spotted the bandage wrapped around the white haired girl's left wrist. Her hand being gently held by the brunette.

"I ship them."

"Hmm?"

"I ship them."

"So do I."

Smiling the women looked back at the girls.

"Names?"

"The white haired girl is Akira. The brunette is Ichigo"

"OTP."

"I agree."

Turning to each other the female's high fived.

A/N: So? what did you think? was it good. A bit of a strange start but you know *shrugs* I ain't complaining~.

This is a fanfiction with a twist on Akuma No Riddle, which is a anime I'm watching at the moment. To say its interesting would definitely be true.

The twist is these aren't actually real characters in the anime, I just made them up. I would like to write more one shots with them in the future so do expect to see them again.

They might even show whats in the cases *wink*.

I do not own the anime by the way under any rights so you know *sigh* don't kill me.
