How Life Goes On

Chapter 1

Riley's P.O.V.

We won! I can't believe it, we actually won Internationals! This is insane, I would have never thought of that. It seems like yesterday that we were preparing for Regionals.
I am so happy, but at the same time I feel a little heart broken. It's over now...
Everyone will go their own way, nobody is coming back to A-troupe, well except Noah.
It feels weird thinking about this. This is my team, my family and now everything is over!?
"I am so unbelievable proud of you guys" Miss Kate tells us "You really deserve this! Let's get ready so we can go out tonight!"
We all agree and left to go to our hotel rooms.
I share with Giselle and Michelle, just because James and I weren't aloud to share, I really don't know why.
"I still can't believe we actually won" Giselle says while letting herself fall down on the bed. "This is insane"
"Yeah it is! I know I wasn't dancing, but I still know I belong with you guys"
"You do!" Giselle and I say at the same time.
"I love you guys" Michelle replies and we all hug each other.
"Okay I am gonna take a shower" I tell them.


James's P.O.V.

Tonight the entire team will go to the internationals party, it is a party for every team that competed at the competition. All the boys and Miss Kate are sitting in the lobby waiting for the girls. Of course they're late this is not even a surprise.
The first ones to arrive are Steph, Amanda, Cierra and Thalia. All come running into the lobby, well they tried, but with their high heels it is nearly impossible and looks really hilarious.
"We are not the last ones!" Steph says in relieve.
"Yeah but still late" I comment
"Sorry, but this needs time" she replies sassy.
I just roll my eyes and laugh. When I look over I see Eldon and Thalia doing their 'business'.
"Ewww... guys stop it!" Noah says.
"You're just jealous, 'cause Richelle isn't here" Eldon replies giving Max a high five.
"Shut up"
They continue argue about stupid stuff, but I don't listen anymore. Well I would but I just can't, because I am to focused on my incredible looking girlfriend that just comes into the lobby.
"There you are, now we can go" Miss Kate says relieved and is already on the way out.
I stand up and walk over to Riley.
"Hey beautiful" I whisper before pecking her lips.
"Hey" she replies.
I interlock our hands and we walk out of the hotel.

We arrive at the party and this place is huge. Every team has their own table, it is actually really fancy. We go to our table and sit down
The internationals board opens the event and after that we have dinner. The food is the best I am not kidding!
After an hour or so everyone decided to go dancing. It's so nice to just dance without pressure, there is no competition between all the teams, we all are just having fun doing what we love.
When a slow song comes on, you all know what's happening.

Riley's P.O.V.

"May I" James asks offering his hand for me to take it.
"You may" I reply laughing taking his hand. He pulls me close, laying is hands on my waist. I put my arms around his neck.
We dance together forgetting everything that is around us. Gosh I love this boy.
"What do you think about leaving for a minute?" he whispers in my ear. I nodd and we go outside.
The party takes place right at the beach, so we decided to go for a walk.
We walk along the beach, our hands interlocked.
"James...?" I whisper
"Yeah?"
"What comes next? I mean I know that you wont come back to A-Troupe, but what about me? I feel like it would be weird if I audition again, but if I don't audition what should I do? I feel like everybody knows what they want to do with their lifes except for me..."
"...Riles stop!" he interrups me "You're gonna be fine. You're an amazing dancer you will have alot of opportunities. I don't know what will happen, but I know that we will be together"
I bite my lip before connecting our lips. Our lips move in sinc and I can't help but smile.
"I love you James Parker"
"I know"
"Idiot!"
I hit his chest before kissing him again.
"We probably should go back to the party" I suggest.
"Yeah" he agrees.

The rest of the evening went by. We danced, talked and had alot of fun. I don't know what the future brings, but I know that I will never forget these people and that they will always have a special place in my heart...
