HOW DID I COME UP WITH THE STORY
>> Always been fascinated about Forbidden Love kind of story. From Romeo and Juliet to Titanic (The classics, and no I'm not a Leo fan! haha). Then I read the story made by my fave PHR Author, Luna King. Then Cassandra Clare books follows, Jace and Clary of TMI, Will and Tessa of TID, Julian and Emma in TDA. I just love forbidden love! Haha.. but seriously, it shows how far can a person fight for their love and if he came out victorious. Love can be lasting.

DID I THOUGHT ABOUT THE NAMES?
>> Suuuper! Haha.. This goes back a few years ago back in high school. I love t read since I was a child, I tried to wirte stuffs and always starting but never ending it. I had a lot of drafts back home, drafts I couldn't put away. Those were ideas I couldn't bring my heart to throw away.
So one of the drafts was about an orphanage with three kids of names from cities. Rome, Florence and Venice. I made plenty of plot about that story and suddenly (but not surprisingly) I got lazy. So I left it in my trunk along with my tons of drafts.
Then came #TatlongBibe of Romantic Escapist. One of his character is named after the city of Switzerland, Zurich. He loved his puppy Sydney. And it brought back my interest of people named after cities but I still didn't have the heart to write one.
On October 21st just this week, my friends and I went out to celebrate our friend's birthday. We took photos as usual, and we complained about how our one friend opens her FB account pretty seldom. And we mentioned her sister, whose name in FB is Paris Venice France.
We argued at that time, because we interchanged the last two names.. and that friend of mine whose sister has cities for a name, asked. "What other countries would be nice to have as a name?"
We were unable to produce any city suitable for a name. So we carried on to our nonsensical-slash-craziness-topic.
October 22nd, my mind was bothered as to what city should be nice to have as a name and I saw my Rick Riordan books lying around our house and like a light bulb sprung to life, Athens!
But what city name to suit for Athens? I remembered Riordan's Heroes of Olympus. The rivalry between the Greek god and Roman gods. So came Rome.
Just so its clear, I haven't read the series yet. Not even book one, The Lost Hero since I'm finishing another series. Though I have the four books, I'm still reluctant to start the series since House of Hades is nowhere to be found. So the quotes in the story? fished them out in google as well as the photos.
WHY LOGAN AND ANNA?
>> The entire time I was reading Percy Jackson and The Olympians as well as in Greek Gods, Greek Heroes and Demigods & Magician. I pictured Logan Lerman as Percy. How couldn't I when he brought Percy to life in the movies?
Annasophia Robb is a beauty. From Charlie and The Chocolate Factory,Bridge To Terabithia to Race To The Witch Mountain. Also watched a few episodes of Carrie Diaries but I can't say I'm a fan. But I like her, and I plan to watch her movie Soul Surfer one of these days.
So why did I choose them to be together? Hmmm.. blame Cassie (Clare). Reading her book, Lady Midnight with characters Julian Blackthorn, brown hair and blue green eyes. I can't help but picture Logan as Jules. And Emma Carstairs, blonde and fierce, Anna just fit in the shoes. They were my fancast while reading the first book of The Dark Artifices so I want to live in that imagination, since there is 0.5 % chance Constantin Films will cast the two of them in the Shadowhunters series in ABC.
