Day two of hell. I walk down the stairs and Harry is..gone?
"Good morning honey." Dad smiles, hugging me. "Hey. Where's Harry?"
"Oh he said he had to go somewhere." Dad shrugs.
I nod and drive to school.
As I'm walking into school I see Harry talking to Paige. He notices me and waves. I wave slightly before walking into school.
"Mia! There you are!" Louis runs up to me, out of breath. "Um...school hasn't even-"
"Not the point. Your friend with the green-"
"Harry?" I tilt my head.
"Yes! Him. He is different now." He sighs. "Different?"
"Just look." I look over and Harry is walking into school, tight jeans, white shirt, and Paige is on his arm.
He's winking at girls now and he suddenly has a lot of guy friends.
"I don't understand. Last night he was a quiet, shy boy." I groan, shutting my locker.
"Not anymore. You know...are you sure he was always shy? I mean you don't just change over night." Louis ponders, rubbing his chin.
"I don't know." I shrug, rolling my eyes.
"Well I'll see you at lunch." Louis hugs me before walking off to class.
I walk into class and all eyes are on me. I take a breath and sit next to Harry.
"Hey." He says, making my head snap towards him. "Hey." I weakly smile, pulling out a notebook.
"Is something wrong?" He asks. I shrug, writing down notes.
"Harry. Babe." Paige calls.
"Babe?" I ask Harry. "Since when does she call you that?"
"Uh...I.." he stammers. "Forget it." I sigh, putting my stuff away, as the bell rings.
I walk into lunch and sit next to Louis.
"He's lost it. He's officially popular." I groan, rubbing my face.
"Maybe he'll change..?" Louis says.
I roll my eyes before walking to my car.
I get home and walk inside. I trudge up the stairs and I'm about to walk into my room before Harry walks out of his room and looks at me.
"What?" I ask. "Why are you mad?"
"I'm not." He rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
"Yes you are. I'm not dumb. I know that when a girl-"
"Really because yesterday you didn't. Yesterday you were a shy, quiet boy. Now what are you?" I scan him before glaring.
"I'm me, ok?" He says, louder than I thought. "Well I don't know if I like you like this."
He looks taken back before he nods. "Well guess what? I don't care." He shrugs.
What? Why is he being a dick.
"Fuck you." I glare, slamming my door.
As soon as I lay down I dial Louis on my phone. "Lou. He snapped at me."
"What? Why?"
"I don't know..I asked why he changed and he started being a dick."
"What a jerk. I'm unfriending him on Facebook."
I laugh before speaking again, "I don't know what to do. If I have to live with this guy you can-"
A knock occurs on my door, making me stop talking. "Hold on I'll have to call you back." I sigh, walking to the door.
Harry stands there in no shirt and sweats. "Harry.." he walks in my rock and sits on my bed.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. But I'd like I tell you who I was." He sighs. I nod, sitting next to him.
"Before me and my mom came here..I was a dick. Sleeping around, dating everyone, making terrible grades, and just being mean to everyone. I'd get in a ton of fights. I didn't want to show you the real me because..I didn't think you'd accept me. And you don't. So I just pretended to be shy. And it didn't work because this Morning when I got to school, a guy was being a total ass. So I punched him." He shrugs.
"Harry..you shouldn't of lied to me." I cross my arms, glaring. "I know. I'm sorry Mia." He sighs.
"It's ok." I finally say, looking down at my hands.
"Well I better head to bed. Big day tomorrow." He smiles, standing up.
I scan him and his abs. I never knew he had such good god damn abs. Oh fuck, I could just imagine touching them.
I need an excuse. I'll hug him...no that's weird. Yes do it!
"Hug?" I hold out my arms. He tilts his head before I clear my throat. "You know..goodnight hug?" I feel my cheeks heat up.
"Oh alright." He chuckles, wrapping his arms around my small waist and hugging me. I lay my head on his shoulder, hugging him back.
What is this I'm feeling? I feel like I never want to let go. Like I'm flying.
He seems to feel that too because he doesn't let go, either. What? This is crazy.
We slowly pull away and he smiles, nodding at me. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight." I smile, closing the door behind him.
Oh my god.
