* Just so everyone knows, there is no specific year that I will mention because if I do my mind will explode for historical errors. This is set when the gang comes back from Hamburg and Stuart is with Astrid. So pretty much, everything is not exact So it can fit this story.*
Chapter 1
I Can Only Hope
A gentle breeze blew through the vibrant green leaves that dangled below the branches that belonged to a large, ancient tree that casted a shadow underneath it.
Sitting on top of the plushy green grass was a man, who looked to be in his twenties, had a peaceful look on his face, enjoying the view of the setting sun that painted the sky with oranges and reds. It was a sight that could steal the breath out of anyone who would take the time to slow down in their busy lives and enjoy the small things.
"Isn't it beautiful? I could watch it all day." said a soft voice that belonged to a woman that sat next to the man, laying her head upon his shoulder.
The man's chestnut hair blew across his forehead. He turned to her with a caring smile and said "Yer lovelin' darlin'. I wish I can be with ye fer ever."
The woman gave a heart felt smile towards him, leaning in close to his face.
"Ye have no clue as te how much I love ye darlin."
"John..." she whispered as they leaned into each other, eyes closed, waiting for their lips to be on each others.
My eyes flew open only to find myself in my dark room, the moon from the window being the only source of light.
There's that dream again. The dream with that girl. I've been having this for awhile now but I haven't told anyone about it. I'm afraid that they might make fun of me about it. But it's always with the same girl. I know because I have this feeling about it.
Strangely, as often as I dream of her, there are never any details left for me to know who she is. Nothing of long her hair is, how soft her eyes are, how bright her smile is, or cute her nose might be. What's funny is that tonight was different. I actually heard her voice. Her voice was heavenly. It gave me chills in my back and my heart fluttered a bit.
I'm falling for a dream girl. A girl who might not even exist. It's so stupid and yet...cosmic, I guess you can say, and yet I'm dying to meet her. To see her. Feel her or at least hear her with my own ears. You never know, maybe she is real. Maybe I've met her before in school or around the neighborhood. Who ever she is she got me under her sweet, divining spell.
I made myself comfortable, raising my knees close to my chest, closing my eyes and drifting back to sleep hoping to see her again a second a time in one night. A rarity that is. I can only hope.
