Chapter 2 Nina

"Find it, you must find it my chosen, or your life will be forfeited".

The shadowy figure reached out her hand and touched my arm, a searing pain sprouted through my arm. waking me, looking around my room in a cold sweat, the shadowy figure that has been haunting me since the start of term. As I looked at my arm, I noticed something that wasn't there last night, a mark Jackal with a frill down the side of it. rubbing frantically I realised that its not coming off, grabbing a towel I went to have a shower.

Taking my seat at the head of the table, I grabbed a piece of toast and started to butter it, as the others started to enter the dinning room, Amber my blonde roommate sat at my left, followed by Mara a brown haired girl, Next came Eddie, Fabian and Alfie followed shortly by a smirking Jerome, this cant be good, then Joy and Patricia.

I turned to Amber and Fabian, "we need to go back down to study after school, see if we can find a way past that light".

"Yeah I don't fancy being blinded again, that was a total bummer", Amber said

"Sure I don't have any plans", Fabian said adding honey to his porridge.

"Morning dears" Trudy said walking in, with a plate of scrabbled eggs.

"I need you all back straight after school, we have a new student joining us in Anubis house, isn't this exciting, Their name is Percy"

Oh I hope she's cute, Jerome said rubbing his hands

Hahah, the she is a he Jerome, he is called Perseus but prefers to be called Percy.

Ha I didn't know you swung that way Jerome, Eddie said chuckling, better watch your back Alfie.

Oh hush Eddie, Trudy said slapping his arm.

Fabian and Eddie he will be staying with you two, I know it will be cramped, but the attic isn't ready yet for people to sleep in as it is so dusty and still dirty.

Its fine Trudy, it will be best to keep the new kid away from Jerome and Alfie.

I'm Offended Fabian, to think I would take advantage of the new kid. Jerome said with a smirk.

As soon as I see him I'm keeping him away from you two when he arrives, Fabian said crossing his arms

Ohhh already over Mick and want first dibs on the new kid, Patricia said smirking

Joy stood up and walked over to Fabian, Lets go Fabe's she said dragging him out of his seat.

Aahh so the love triangle is now a pair, and Nina lost Alfie said

I stood up and left, hearing everyone shout ALFIE!!, grabbing my bag I left the house and started to walk towards the school.

Nina wait up, Amber ran beside me, grabbing my arm, I'm sorry for Alfie but you need to move on, or we can try and steal Fabian back from Joy after all that's what she did to you.

No Amber I said walking through the school doors, it was a mutual break up.
I'm happy being friends, plus I don't want to stoop to her level.
If your sure Amber said as we took our seats at the front.

As the others walked, Fabian attempted to catch my eyes, I turned pretending not to noticed him holding hands with Joy, they were followed shortly by our history teacher Mr Winkler.

Morning all, he said
Morning Mr Winkler we chimed back, he started writing on the board, Egyptian Mythology he said, Specifically the gods, as you know from our last lesson Osiris.
