How You Lost The Girl

Chapter 1

Wait hold on, stop! Leave me alone! Please Luke I yelled.

Luke's POV:
I watched as she sprinted down the alley, her feet splashing In the puddles, the sound echoing, bouncing off the brick walls, the sky was getting darker and darker, every moment I was chasing her,her brown hair swung from side to side. As she tried to get away from me, I could hear my heart shattering into a million pieces, losing my breath,
I began to slow down, unable to keep going, the raindrops descending heavily and the pavement slippery.
I ran down the long pitch black alley way, looking for her ,shouting her name ,as I ran, I kept jogging, hoping she was still within reach. In the distance , a small figure was on the floor, curled up into a ball, I rushed to where the broken girl laid in a puddle in the middle of nowhere she looked up at me with wounded eyes her hair wet and tangled, her eyes red and puffy, with makeup running down her face. In the rain, in this dark setting, she was still beautiful, she was still gorgeous, she was still perfect, I opened my mouth, about to speak, but then she cut me off. "Why does this keep happening?" she whispered I saw the tears about to scape her eyes. "Look Khya." I began , my voice shaking, I look into her eyes, seeking all the sadness I have caused, the sadness that she was feeling . She sat up from the puddle to stand in frontof me . Pushing her damp hair out of her face I could still see over her head. @This time is different Luke, you can't fix this our whole relationship wasn't going to work, out I should've known! "She screamed. Her voice was cracking with every word that left her small mouth, I wanted to pick her up and kiss her. I still haven't said anything yet, I tried to focus on the floor, attempting to stall , her brown eyes locking with mine. " I can't believe I let this happen again! Well say something ! Don't just stare at me like that!" I looked at her, a billion of things to say. But none of them was worth saying. "I don't know." I said nearly Inaudible ." really Luke?"" that's all you have to say?" gosh !""this is so messed up right now ,you don't know !you don't know !well that's just awesome !"She began fake laughing, like she did when she was upset, her hair stuck to her ,clinging like the way her face was shaped, she squeezed her eyes shut, tightly, so the tears that threatened to escape vanished. The rain was pouring even harder now , soaking our clothes." Gosh! This just sucks !" " It sucks because I love you! Damnit!" I took a step towards her , the way her lip quivered, in the cold rain, I could see the goosebumps beginning to appear on her bare arms, shaking as the wind gently blew against us. I began to take off my jacket , but she shook her head. " Don't ,she warned softly ."
