@JeonSaeHyun, the story line belongs to her along with the cover. Thanks so much.
Everything should have been perfect, from the dress down to the menu. It was suppose to be perfect. That's what Hoseok was thinking as he sat alone in the empty chapel, everyone had already left. He kept thinking what went wrong? What he could do to avoid this, but there was no signs.
Yesterday...
Hoseok woke up and prepared breakfast for him and his fiance Eunjae like he did every morning. "Fiance" he giggled to himself. He liked how it sounded, he was marrying his High School crush. It took 4 attempts till she finally excepted his proposal and 2 years till they finally got married and it was happening tomorrow. The big day. "Eunjae" Hoseok sang as he opened the bedroom door, she was still sleeping. He set the tray on the bedside table before climbing on the bed, "Jagiya" he said in a low whisper. "Five more minutes" she muttered as she turned over. "Jagi, I made breakfast" he said as he showered her with kisses.
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet" she said while pulling the sheet over her face, "I don't mind" he said and removed the sheets. He brushed some stray hairs off her face before leaning in. She put her hands over her mouth, "I'm serious" she said.
"I didn't brush mine either" he said as he removed her hand from her mouth and replacing it with his lips. She kissed him back as she climbed on him, "What about breakfast?" he said as he looked at the tray. "Later" she smiled as she kissed him, her fingers trailing up and down his abs before they found its way to his pants. Hoseok broke the kiss, breathing heavily. "I only have 30 minutes till I have to go to work" he panted.
"Then we'd better be fast" she said while trailing kisses down his chest.
Work was normal for Hoseok, he worked as a lawyer at one of the best law firms in Seoul. Eunjae on the other hand like shopping and hanging out with her friends. It was typical afternoon for them. After work Hoseok went drinking with some of his friends, "Last night till you're married" Jimin said while refilling his glass with soju and passed it to him, "One shot" he finished.
"I'll be his black knight" Eunjae said as she took the glass and drank it. "Oh, Mrs. Jung Hoseok" Namjoon said. She smiiled at them while taking a seat next to him, "Can't have my husband getting to drunk" she said.
"You said husband" Taehyung said.
"I was testing it out, sounds weird. Maybe we should postpone the wedding" she said to Hoseok. "We've been waiting for a while. You're not allowed to postpone it anymore" Jimin warned them. She stared down at her phone as she sent a quick text, "I have to go. You're not allowed to keep him out late" she said while getting up. "Yes Mrs. Hoseok" Taehyung teased.
"I have a name you know" she said and left.
"What's with you?" Hoseok asked Jimin. He looked at him as he shrugged his shoulders, "Nothing. Just had a thought" he responded.
It was D-day, Eunjae waas in the bridal room putting her dress on as she stared at her reflection. "You make a really pretty bride" her friend Hyemi said while watching her. Eunjae stared at her reflection, "Thanks" she responded as she took a seat and grabbed her phone with a smile when she saw a text message. "In a matter of minutes you'll be Mrs. Jung Hoseok" she said.
"Living the dream" Eunjae answered as she looked at her. "I'm jsut surprised you're actually getting married since you kept pushing it back" Jiyeon said.
"Cold feet" Eunjae said.
Hoseok was pacing back and forth in his room, nervous as hell. "Hyung, come down" Jungkook said to him. Hoseok stopped walking while taking deep breaths. "I'm actually getting married" he said when he came to the realization that this was actually happening. "Yes. To the girl you've been chasing for years" Taehyung said.
"I wasn't chasing her" he retorted.
"You're right. I think it was stalking" Yoongi added as they laughed.
Everyone took their spots as the wedding was about to start, everyone stood up when the bride was walking in with her father. She looked around at the people, smiling at them till she saw Hoseok standing there. She smiled at him as he took her hand, "You okay?" he whispered. She nodded her head as she swallowed hard. The music stopped and everyone took their seats, Hoseok could tell that there was something different about Eunjae. She seemed out of sorts, he shook it off as nerves. After all everyone gets nervous on their wedding day. Hoseok turned to her as he was getting ready to do their vows, "Eunjae. From the first time I saw you I knew you were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my lie with" he started.
"I'm sorry" she interrupted as he ran off. "Eunjae" he called. Her bridesmaids ran after her, everyone else started whispering among each other. "Hyung" Jungkook said.
"She's probably just nervous" he said, "She'll be back."
10 minutes have passed and she didn't return. 30 minutes, and people started to leave. She wasn't coming back, he knew it but he didn't want to admit it.
Present...
Hoseok has been seating there for an hour, "She's not coming. She left" Namjoon said while walking in with his hands in his pocket. Hoseok looked up at him, "She probably got cold feet and went home. She's probably waiting for me" he said as he got up and ran to his car. He loved her, he cared so much about her that he didn't want to believe that she gave up on them, on what they could have been.
When he got home he saw that all of her things were gone. She was really gone, he saw a note on the bed. Two words written on it, 'I'm sorry'. That's all it said, those two little words. He fell on the bed while staring at the note, Eunjae was the only girl he dated, loved. "And now she's gone" he said to himself.
