But How?
Chapter 1“Eww this is the must nastiest dungeon I have ever been in, but it’s the only dungeon I’ve been in.” Serenity said leaning lazily against the wall. She pressed her foot against the wall and it broke through.
“I can’t believe this.”
Serenity pulled her foot as hard as she could out of the wall and bent down to felt a small breeze.
“Now where does this go?” She began to dig until a faint moon light shined through. What was that? She could hear the drunken people! They must’ve been barely leaving. Maybe she could tell someone she was trapped! “Thank goodness i was worried over nothing.”
All of a sudden the light was brighter and the voices seemed clearer. She poked through the hole and let out a shout. A turn to see where the sound had come from, and made his way to the wall trying not to fall and hit the ground face first. His mange to sit on the ground safely and peered through the hole saw the hole. He saw the lost and hopeless eye of Serenity looking back at him.
“Madam what are you doing?” The man asked his words slurred.
“I slapped the king and he didn’t appreciate much to my surprise.”
“Well why did you slap him and why should I help you King Angelo could have me killed for doing so and I wasn’t planning on that anytime soon lady.” The man was sober enough to know he didn't want to die. The wind began to pick up blowing more of the rain into his face.
“It’s complicated,” she replied as she rolled her eyes she couldn’t let someone else got hurt or be killed because Angelo was angry with her it wouldn't be right.
She then heard feet steps a guard was coming and she covered the hole. “Move along son.”
Now the questions had me thinking. How had this turned out like this? Why were unheard of things always happening to her? My only hope had been hurried off into the night. My thoughts flooded my head and I could only think of how I was going to make out of here.
“Ok Serenity stop freaking out someone can’t ask you something like that and then just leave you down here calm hopeful his anger won't be forever this time.”
