"Carmella we're throwing you a party at the frat house" My brother Justin said after walking through the front door of the family house just two minutes ago with James following behind him.
"Why?" I asked wondering why they have suddenly changed their minds about me coming to a party at there college frat house.
"Well you're eighteen tomorrow and you're already friends with half our friends." James said looking at me with a worried expression then Justin said "but no drinking you're still young."
"What why you're under twenty one too and besides I've drunk alcohol before." I whined feeling annoyed that I'm finally eighteen tomorrow, attending a frat party and can't drink.
There goes my day.
That night on my eighteen birthday which is August fourteen I stood up on the stairs looking down at the crowd of people who I don't know searching for the familiar faces of my brothers.
I walked down the stairs when I spotted my brothers with a brunch of their mates from the football team.
"Carmella" My brothers Justin spotted me first and grabbed my arm to introduce me to his friends.
I spoke to them for a while than came up with an excuse to leave. So here I am walking people holding a empty cup to refill it with 'soda'.
Before I even made it half way through the crowd I felt someone grab my hand and yank me back towards the person.
"Justin, I'm getting soda." I yelled then turned to look at him but my eyes meet with forestry green eyes instead of the blue ones of my brother's. These eyes definitely don't belong to Justin or Jason.
"Do I look like a Justin?" He asked me which snapped my focus from his eyes to looking him from head to toe.
He had long hair to his shoulders- not in a girly way but a man like way. It was hot. Before I could stop myself I blurted out "I like your hair."
"I like your hair to sweetheart" he chucked grabbing a piece of my hair then tucked it behind my ear like guys on movies do to leading girl.
I don't know why I wasn't talking maybe it was because I was shocked someone was paying attention to me and it wasn't just another person who wants to talk to me because I'm Justin and Jason's sister but because he wanted to and he is extremely hot which is a bonus.
"What?" I said returning my attention back to him.
"Can I take you to lunch tomorrow?" He asked me.
Oh my god is he asking me on a date.
A date.
Date. Date. Date.
Say yes.
"Yes" I smiled at him then added "I'll go on a date with you" I paused the realization came to me that I don't even know his name.
I put out my hand for him to shake then introduced myself "I'm Carmella, you are?"
"Ried Parker it's a pleasure to meet you Carmella." He said taking my hand into his and lightly shock it.
