"C'mon get out of the car Brent." My dad says for the 5th time since we had gotten onto the driveway. I get out of the car and taking my skateboard out of the car with me. My mom walks into the house before everyone else with a huge grin on her face.

After everyone gets into the house my mom show us around the house. She was the only one who came on the tour, telling me and my dad that it was a "surprise". When she's done giving us the tour I go straight to my room and lay in the bed that was left here. I lift my head up and I see a girl around my age standing in the doorway.

" Who are you, why are you in my house!?" I quickly ask the girl. She chuckles lightly and grins at me."I'm Violet, and I wouldn't really call this your house, I mean you just moved here right? You don't know what goes on in this house." She had a good point there, but it was still my house and I wasn't going to just let her do what she wants.

She looks at me, waiting for my next move I guess. I get out of the bed and get closer to her, hoping to intimidate her. "I don't want to hurt you, get out." She rolls her eyes at me and gets even closer to me. "You couldn't hurt me even if you did want to, so stop it with the empty threats."

I stick my head out the door. "Hey, mom?" She looks at me and chuckles again. "Go ahead, call your Mommy, you little baby." I stand thee waiting for my mom to answer while she continues to smile. "Yes, honey?"

"Never mind I thought I saw something, go back to what you were doing." I close the door back and get back on my bed. She stands over me, with an amused face on. "I knew you wouldn't do anything, good boy." She pats my head softly and ruffles my hair. "Whatever, I'm going to sleep, its been a long day so go away." With the last two words my eyes were closed and I this k she had actually left.
