Love isn't Greek to me
Its language my heart has known well.
My dreams fall into same predictable ending
And that is our happy ever after.
There is the man I love so much.
He gives me reason to look forward on our future.
I love him more than he knew.
He is simply perfect in my eyes.
But fate seems insensitive and unfavorable.
This man of mine sometimes resist to show
His love for me came unnoticed
With reasons he only knew.
A woman like me, like him needs intimacy
Gestures and touch to inflame our love.
Not I need romantic course as proof
All I seek is a love shown and felt.
Sometimes, I look at him
Waiting for his glance to meet mine
Inside me longs to prove that somehow
I'm a beautiful prospect in his eyes.
Sometimes, I wait for him to hold my hand
Searching the warmth of his palm hugging mine.
But when he did, he suddenly let go
Falling my hand on my side and my heart crashed on the floor.
Many times, I want to ask him.
Do you feel my love? Am I good enough?
What's on your head that I cannot see?
Please be my man as you used to be.
