Subject : The Vintage Shop

21st November, 2012 was the best day ever till date, because that's when we first met. It was a cold winter morning, and I had holidays going on. I don't recall doing anything that day except going to the shop and meeting you.

It was a little after sunset that I of going out. Out of boredom, I decided to go to the Vintage shop and buy a few record cd's. I was in the shop for quite some time, because I couldn't find a particular Beatles record. I had to fish for it for almost half and hour, until I finally saw it sitting high on top of the shelf.

I could see you from the corner of my eye, but I didn't pay much attention. I struggled to get the cd because it was right on the topmost shelf. I didn't even realise when you came near me, all I could see was that you were trying to get it as well. After a few minutes you were successful in getting it down, but I was really shocked when you handed it to me.

All I did was stare dumbly at your face, and you smiled at me and walked away. I didn't even get a chance to thank you. I realised that this was nothing but just a stranger trying to help me. I must admit, I was a little disappointed.

But I guess we were meant to be together after all. Seeing you in college after exactly a month didn't seem to startle me, instead it made me happy. Our friendship grew, and slowly turned into love, until you shattered that love into pieces.
