Chapter 3

19 1 2

Hopefully the chapters get longer from here on, the first two chapters were more of an introductory type. Eh. We'll see. It's Nerrianda!!!!! (still amateur XP)  =>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The chapters will continue to come out slowly until I can produce art for the next chapters. And at this chapter, the drawings have caught up. Expect a Seskeuf in a bat form or Timothy next chapter.

Enjoy!

"Where the hell am I?"

Upon turning around, I noticed that there were what seemed to be the demonic creatures in long, dark coats walking among rows of benches littered with glass sculptures, colours swirling within them. Turning back to the other demons, I realised that they were not demons at all, but... a skintight armour of some sort, rows upon rows hanging from the ceiling, the feet of the suits just brushing the floor.

Suits of armour? But that meant... that there were other, possibly more scary things inside the suits.

I tried to stand up, to inspect the suits further, but was stopped by a sharp pain in my leg. How could I forget? I carefully inspected the wound. Four, long, wide but shallow... punctures ran across my calf. The wound had scabbed over, and looking down at the ground around me, I could see a somewhat wide puddle of blood around the area where my leg had been.

But for a puddle of that size... I must have been out cold.

"She has awoken."

I whipped my head around, only to meet a harsh, white light that one of the creatures was holding. I flinched, and immediately shielded my face with my arms and squinted my eyes shut. Something prodded my back.

"Follow me."

I had no choice but to obey. Any attempts made to take in my surroundings were quickly surpressed by either the light or the creatures around me. Before long, we came to a stop. I heard a strange, otherwordly whirring noise, and then the sound of steel sliding against steel. I flinched visibly.

"It's not a sword."

"We assure you."

I noticed that the first voice was higher and the second was more raspy.

After we passed the sound, our party came to an abrupt stop. I tried opening my eyes, and saw that the creatures were no longer trying to block my vision. Instead, they were standing behind me. I was in another room. But unlike the other room, this one was composed entirely of metal. How did they get this much steel?

I hestitantly stepped forward. One, two steps... The creatures didn't seem to mind. I explored the room. Once I was standing in the centre of it, I could see many, many different flashing squares in inhumanely bright colours. Bright, vivid colours that I never imagined. Bright blues, furious reds, deep greens... And they all formed pictures. Breath-taking pictures. Pictures of animals, flowers, tall towers that looked like they were made of the ice off a pond. It was just amazing.
