BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Ughh, there goes my alarm, I moaned as I got up and reached over to my iPod to slide the unlock bar. I yawned and rubbed my eyes as I slid off my bed and walked like a zombie to the bathroom. I jerked a little when I looked at the mirror, my hair looks like a broomstick that’s been blown up; I blinked a few times at my reflection and shrugged. I stripped off my clothes and jumped into the shower to get ready for school.

I straightened up my uniform and went downstairs to have breakfast, just when I was about enter the kitchen I heard my mum call to me.

“Jasmine Darling, last night a young man dropped by to return your homework, he had to knock a few times to wake me up though.”

 I froze as I was about to grab some milk from the fridge, “Mother?”

 “Yes doll?”

 “What did this guy look like?” I asked as I settled my cereal on the table.

She smiled at me, “Well he was a handsome and sweet young man, with brown hair, he’s very cute boy. “

I choked on my cereal and starter to cough, my mum patted my back. “What’s wrong?”

 “Oh eheh nothing.” I got up and placed my bowl in the sink and stomped off upstairs to brush my teeth.

I brushed my teeth thoroughly, “Cute? Are you serious?? Well he is, but how can people like my mother think he’s sweet?? He’s a pain in the ass!!” I mumbled as I walk down the stairs. I threw my bag on my back and walked out of the door, I kicked some rocks while I walked lazily on the path. I sighed boringly then I heard a loud honk coming from behind me.

I swung my head around to see a black car slowly driving towards me, when the car stopped beside me my eye began to twitch when I found Darren sitting in the driver’s seat. He pulled his sunnies down to get a clear view of me.

“Want a lift?” Wow, he looks so hot today with his top buttons undone and those sunnies, what am I saying? I shook my head to clear those thoughts away. I looked around, I didn’t like walking to school and I was really tired so I accepted his request. So I threw my bag at the back and jumped in the seat beside him.

While we were driving he kept on glancing at me, I didn’t want an accident to happen so I asked him, “What?” I snapped at him.

“Not a morning person much, huh?  Just wanted to say that you look nice today.”

 I raised my eyebrow and tried really hard to not blush at his compliment. “Um, th- thank you?” Nice one Jasmine, mental slap, just try to act cool and stop stuttering. I didn’t really have experience talking to boys so I didn’t know what to say.

 He chuckled, “But I think it would be better if you had your hair down.”

“Thanks for the tip but I’m fine like this.” I answered, hmmm should I? Ok just to impress him. I sighed and removed my hair elastic and let my Dark brown, silky hair fall into place.

 “So is that better?” I asked.

He grinned,” Much better.”

 I turned to the window so he couldn’t see my cheeks flush red. It was a short trip distance so we didn’t get to talk much, as he parked I saw Ashley standing there near the parking area looking really angry but when Darren helped me out of the car, she exploded and it amazed me that she didn’t have smoke puffing out of her ears right now. I tried to hold in my laughter the best I could, when suddenly she flipped me off, I couldn’t help but just use my evil smile on her.
