Sakura was in her bedroom thinking about Naruto. "It's not like I'm jealous or anything... But why do I feel so unhappy when I think about him with her!" Sakura's alarm clock went off telling her too meet at the village gates. She sighed deeply then started to smile. "It's Naruto, I doubt he was even serious about it. Plus Hinata can't even say one word to him without blushing or fainting so she probably did just that IF Naruto even tried confessing his feelings." She stood up and through open her blinds. "I have no reason to worry or be upset," she sighed

At the village gates
Sakura was surprised to see team 8 there too. Sakura faced Kakashi and apologized for her time. "It's alright Sakura." Then he faced everyone and explained the mission. This is going to be a guiding mission and an ambush mission. Kiba, you will be leading Hinata, Sakura, and Sai. Taking a different route so that if the enemy does show up you all can ambush them before they attack us, while me, Naruto and Shino will be guiding farmers around the fight to avoid anyone getting injured." He turned to Kiba and handed him a scroll with a map on it. "You'll be following this path Kiba. Now. Let's move out."

With Kiba's group
Sai and Kiba stayed in the front while Sakura and Hinata walked more toward the back.

Sakura's pov
I want to ask Hinata about Naruto.... but I don't even know if he even asked her out or not!! "Hey Sakura are you ok, you look a little worried." "Oh I'm fine Hinata. But how are you, what's new?" "Well...." Her face started slowly glowing red. "Me and Na-Naruto are dating now," She said shyly. Dating!?! Her and Naruto? So he really had moved on... "Uh-um it was fast, I hope we can all become closer as friends and we can h-hang out more Sakura. Are you alright?" "Yes I'm fine, she smiled, Hinata y'all seem great together!" "Thanks Sakura!" "No problem!" Hinata walked forward while Sakura walked behind upset about what she just heard.

"Hinata I'm sure the enemy is close by, use your Byukugan to spot them." Kiba said. Using her Byukugan she saw the enemies figures close by. "They are close Kiba but it seems like their resting." "Good let's set up some traps then.
After setting up traps
"Good that's done now we just wait. Have they moved Hinata?" Using her Byukuhan she looked around them. "Kiba I don't see them! They disappeared!" Laughing erupted from the trees above them. "Your out numbered kids, someone needs more training but you'll die before that happens." They all jumped down and surrounded them. "Hinata go find Kakashi and the others! Me and Sai will make a gap so you that you can pass and hold the enemy off until you get here!
