The Call

The sun's rays shot through Audrey's brand new apartment window. Audrey was a petite, brown haired tall lanky girl. She wasn't the cutest or the prettiest, but somehow everybody accepted her. It was a cool chilly day in September, Audrey's favorite month. Her brand new iPhone was buzzing, so she quickly forced herself out of her neatly organized bedroom to her downstairs kitchen to see who was calling. It was her best friend, Lola; Lola Eve Blackwood. She quickly answered the call, and on the other end was an excited Lola. Everybody knew that Audrey never has had a boyfriend before, with one exception, but we won't get into that. She always loved the thought of having someone to lean on, be your moral support, and love and cherish your beauty and amazement. The feeling of that fascinated her and gave her butterflies in her stomach. The other side of the line was flat, until Lola realized she picked up. Most of the time Lola was clueless, but that's what made her unique. She had her own special charm, and her glistening blue eyes could lead anyone into her heart. She had a small, tiny waist and full, plump lips.
"Audrey, I think I found you somebody..." I heard from the other side of the phone. Her high pitched voice flowed out these words of joy into my little iPhone. I stared at my wall in shock, my mouth dropped down to the floor. She sent me a photo of my mystery lover and I instantly fell in complete love.  His colored pink hair, his forearm tattoos; I was in heaven.  He looked like a pretty hardcore dude but I promised myself to give him a shot.  His eyes were hazelnut colored, but slightly more brown; like the color of the dead, crunchy leaves in the fall. She could stare into his eyes for eternity, but I soon snapped back into reality and realized; I realized that he was my best friend, Lion Boyd's brother. I stood in complete shock knowing Lion would most likely never let me date his handsome brother, but in the back of my mind I knew that I would date him without Lion's permission anyways.
"Lola, I have to uh.... Umm.... I have to go now, I'll be back soon, I promise!"  I shouted into the phone as a hopped into this amazing Dylan's text messages.
"Wait Audr-," Lola attempted to tell me as a hung up.  He was so perfect, I was so amazed by him.  His jaw was sharply cut, just like a stone.  Yes, he wasn't the most muscular or tough looking guy I could get, but he was special.  I've never seen anyone like him before.  He caught my eye, and I'm glad I stumbled across him.  I slowly but steadily go into my text messages and click the neon green icon on my crystal clear phone screen.  Nervously, I type in "Dylan Boyd".  I wasn't sure what to write first, he probably didn't even know I existed.
