Epilogue and The End

Epilogue.

Jeffery had remembered everything that happened when he had died. Remembered the pain he felt when his throat was sliced but right now he felt no pain which is what kept him at peace in whatever forest like place he was walking around in.
Just then a sweet and soft voice of a young woman came through the trees towards him until finally he saw her. A young and beautiful woman with a large man following her. He had wings attached to his back that were as silver as the moon looked sometimes. He was completely mesmerized by them both that he almost didn't hear what she said to him.
"Hello my child. Welcome to my realm. You are dead..but here you will be at peace forever."
He blinked for a moment.
"But Avery needs my help to get free from the evil people."
The girls face looked confused until a soft giggle escaped her lips along with a chuckle from the man.
"My child..Avery is in no danger nor is she being tricked. She's where she belongs and she's as safe as she's ever been. There is no need to worry. Now come.." She held her hand out to him and without hesitation he placed his hand in her's and followed her farther into the now alive and sparkling forest, feeling more and more at peace.
