Prologue

Last day of school, c'mon Jessie, just tell Lucas you like him and everything will go great ^.^ Scratch that there he is. Oh jeez my palms are sweaty...

"Hey jess"

"Lucas! Hi :) you exited about the last day?"

"Eh, I mean yea sure, but my summer will probably just consist of me playing video games and skateboarding with my buddies," He smiled, his bright teeth making me blush. He always makes me feel warm when he's happy.

"Cool. Remember a few months back during homeroom when Daniella got milk up her nose, and she spit it out on you and everyone couldn't stop laughing!" I started giggling which soon turned into a humongous laugh.

He laughed with me as he rested on his bike, staring at me before motioning to the busses. "Haha don't you have to be getting home. Don't wanna be stuck here,"

"Yea lol thanks. Bye Lucas!" I waved before he did the same and started to pedal home.

I grinned before running to my exit out of this school.

I stepped up 3 times before walking to my seat. I placed my headphones in my ears and swiped my phone to unlock it. I played 'Soap' by Melanie Martinez and zoned out, letting this day and summer rock my heart...

It was around 2:30 when I got home, I set my bag down on the chest that held our families winter items. I ran to my room before getting on my phone to check instagram and tumblr, looking at astrological and love posts. My heart melted just thinking about Lucas....Now I have to wait a whole summer to see him again. Can't wait for august ;)...
