Unfortunately, the pedlars dream was misty with clouds so all was not clear for him to understand. However, there were still some vague pictures which M.r. Chapman could make out. So this is what he saw:
The pedlar could see himself in... London! At first he did not realise that London - the capital city of England - was the scene in which his dream took place. Nevertheless, as soon as he saw himself walk onto the great bridge of London he knew. What was he doing on London bridge? You may ask. Well in his dream John chapman was on London bridge so you must put up with it for now! Whilst he was looking over the river, the pedlar was tapped on the back by a man. They started chatting (as anyone would) and, wait for this lady's and gentlemen, legend has it that the man told the pedlar something to his advantage. Remember-though- this was only a dream...
Surprisingly, John had the dream three nights in a row; he thought it must mean something!
